Motorhome roof leak cured
Wasn't sure at first but I coated the seams on my motorhome roof, smothered other areas where water could be getting through, coated the roof ladder brackets, painted it around the skylight roof seals and anywhere else that looked iffy. I painted it on quite thick and watched it settled and fill all gaps, cracks and seams. One hour later there was a downpour and it made a bit of mess with splatters everywhere. It rained heavy overnight and so I checked and all leaks had gone. I'm guessing this stuff found its way in where the water was and set. Now, after another dry day, I've coated the roof areas again and the self levelling quality of this waterproof liquid rubber has hidden the mess that the rain left behind. I've now got a very nice looking white rubber coating on my roof and all the leaks have gone. Looking at it after I've done it can see there's no way water is getting through now. It's a very good product and solved a big problem and reassured me the motorhome is now watertight. I may consider buying a gallon and doing the whole roof with a radiator roller because it's so good. I am impressed at how good it is and very satisfied that I know it's a pretty good solution for a caravan or motorhome roof leak. Ideal for flat surfaces where it settles well. If you're going to use in on vertical areas then I'd suggest putting it on sparingly and putting on a few coats over a few days otherwise just liberally spread it about and watch it work its magic. It's dried and feel like rubber to touch with a slight tackiness but that doesn't bother me. Not quite sure what the long term effects might be but it's up on the roof out of sight out of mind and peace of mind to boot.

Good stuff! Fixed a leaky loo
I had a loo with a leaky waste pipe (yuk) because someone had bodged it up with silicone sealant.I drained it and dried it out, then applied a ring of this stuff around the joint. I got a very small weep after the first attempt, probably because I was too impatient, so I repeated the job. This time it has worked, producing a watertight and slightly flexible repair which does the job.Since then I have also used it to mend a leaky downpipe outside. The repair is in full sun but shows no sign of degradation after a year.Be prepared to sacrifice any paint brush you use. There may be a solvent for this stuff but if so I don't know what it is!Also be prepared for drips: it is quite runny, so plan ahead and expect this.Great stuff, I'm sure I will use it again before long.

Strong and Reliable Waterproof Sealant, with a Few Application Challenges
I recently used the Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal in White, 473ml, for a few home repair projects, and it has proven to be a reliable solution for waterproofing and sealing. It’s a solid product that delivers good results, but there are a few things to be mindful of during application.Pros:Excellent Waterproofing: This product lives up to its name, providing a durable and effective waterproof seal. It’s great for a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, and plastic, making it versatile for different repair and sealing needs. Once applied, it forms a strong, protective barrier against water, preventing leaks and damage.Thick and Durable Coat: The sealant goes on thick, which is great for filling in cracks and gaps. Once dried, it creates a tough, durable layer that stands up well to the elements, whether you’re using it indoors or outdoors.White Finish: The white color is a nice touch, especially if you’re sealing something that you want to match with existing decor or surfaces. It provides a clean, finished look that blends in well, particularly on light-colored surfaces.Versatile Applications: It’s useful for a wide range of projects, from sealing gutters and roofs to waterproofing small cracks in walls or windows. The product’s versatility makes it a handy addition to any DIYer’s toolkit.Cons:Application Challenges: The thick consistency, while great for coverage, can make the application a bit tricky. It’s important to apply it evenly to avoid lumps or uneven spots. Using a brush or roller helps, but it can take some practice to get a smooth finish.Drying Time: The drying time is longer than expected, especially if you’re applying a thick coat. It’s important to allow ample time for it to cure fully before exposing it to water or heavy use, which can be inconvenient if you’re working on a time-sensitive project.Limited Coverage: The 473ml size is sufficient for small to medium-sized projects, but if you’re covering a large area, you might need more than one can. It’s something to consider when planning your purchase, as the coverage area might be less than anticipated due to the product’s thickness. Conclusion:Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal in White is a strong and reliable product for waterproofing and sealing a variety of surfaces. It offers excellent protection against water and creates a durable, long-lasting finish. However, the application process can be a bit challenging, and the drying time requires patience. Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s a great choice for those looking to tackle home repairs or projects that require a dependable waterproof sealant.

Did the job perfectly
I was worried about a review from someone I saw stating that the sealer never dried when applied, so once I received the product I was careful to shake the tin thoroughly before opening, it is quite thick when applying so I would advise anyone to use a strong brush to ensure brush hairs are not pulled out onto the surface, I used it on a small window Veranda horizontal surface that was "Flaking" up with the existing exterior white paint and water seeping through to the underside of the paint and also dripping through the underside of the Veranda. I picked a day when it wasn't raining (but it was wet), did a quick once over the surface with a paint scraper and broom first, in certain areas I did apply it very thickly because of the holes in the surface, that said, I checked a week ago and it was still very slightly tacky in the thick areas but not so that it came off on your hands (it has been extremely wet and cold almost every day), it has now been about two weeks I just checked and it is now fully cured, the finish feels rubbery. My advice would be to take your time applying, set aside time and assume it will take double the time you estimate, the product is very thick so you can't rush if you want to cover the surface properly. Not sure on the durability yet (if I remember I will update this review in a year). Also, it looks like it may be a nightmare to apply to vertical surfaces but I can't comment on that.
