Fab and reliable even in overcast day
Bought the A4 size pack. It was a very overcast cloudy day, but I followed the instructions to the letter, left it outside (it was 2pm in early January) , 45 mins later I brought it back in. The blue paper had turned a pale blue, once rinsed in cold water for a minute , this was the result.I am extremely pleased for my 1st attempt with this paper, trying another tomorrow! Loads of fun to do with kids as so simple.

An exciting new hobby!
Arrived promptly and well packaged. This is an interesting project kit. Using ready prepared paper, rather than mixing the chemicals and preparing the paper yourself, is much more convenient. I have, already, made several lovely pictures just using ferns, fuchsia and lavender from the garden. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, just remember to have the shallow bowl/sink of water ready! My only, minor, negative(!) comments would be, firstly, the individual sheets of paper are very thin and stick together as you take them out of the black, light protective, bag. Extra care is needed to ensure only one sheet is being used at a time, they are too expensive to waste! Secondly, the exposure times given may need extending considerably, depending on light conditions. Overall though, this is an exciting and fun hobby.

Exceeded expectations
I thought about buying this kit for a, while but wasn't sure it would be any good. Finally, I treated myself for my birthday... I watched a short YouTube video to get into it and jumped straight in. I collected some nice ferns, leaves and bluebells and had a go. Quite fiddly and you have to act fast, have everything laid out but I got pretty good results from the start (video helped a lot). Even finedrops of rain looked quite pretty on the print and I managed to make some nice prints to give to friends. Flattish leaves and ferns look best and use the acrylic sheet to get sharper edges. I'm hooked and and now hoping to buy the chemicals and make my own sheets. Recommended for an absolute beginner and would be a fun activity for children if you try it first yourself.

Fabulous product.
This is the best sun print paper I have used working (with time) even in low sunlight on a cloudy day. Top tip - make sure you leave it in water for a good minute to stop the chemical process as you get a much sharper edge.

very disappointing.
i really wouldn't waste your money on prepared paper. the effects are very disappointing. mixing the chemicals and preparing your own cyanotype paper gives much better results

'Good fun for grown-ups and children
Should be great both for my own art project and working with 7 yr old. I originally saw the 2 powders which you mix together and make your own paper and a starter kit which allows you to mix up 3 colours. While both would be fun, I have landed up buying the paper, + the chemicals, the paper for me and my nephew, and the chemicals for an extra experiment for me as well.

Great introduction to cyanotype
I had great fun experimenting with this kit. A great introduction to the world of cyanotype printing. I wanted to try this before advancing onto buying the chemicals and mixing them myself. These sheets are all ready to go and there's no mess, it couldn't be easier. I was really happy with my results and I've now got the bug. I would buy these again and also as gifts as they really were great fun. I cut some of the sheets in half and also quarters so they would go a bit further. I wish I had bought two packets as I was gutted when I'd used them all as you will find yourself coming up with tons of ideas to try.

A fun, easy way to produce great art.
Loved this, so did "A Pain in the arts" group when we played around with this. We had some super results (I framed mine and it is hanging near the front door). It is fairly easy to use the paper, you just have to be a bit careful to avoid having your design move if it is windy, but it only has to be exposed to the sun for two minutes, then cure in water, dry and you have a cyanotype.
