Olive Wood Butter Knife Spreader 15 cm by Mastro Leonardo - Handmade in Italy

Great little knife, with the accent on the word 'little' . It is short, with handle and blade almost the same length, about 2.5 inches each, nicely weighted and with an olive wood handle.Olive wood is a very hard, densely grained wood with lovely patterning. It is also water resistant, which helps prevent problems with wood rot. It will certainly out live me!I have a Crucifix that was a souvenier of Jerusalem which my father gave me over sixty years ago, and whilst the figure of Christ made of Ivorine (made of plastic) has long shown its age, the Olive wood still looks good though a little darker, despite it going round the globe in a kit bag. So I reckon this liite knife will still be around 60 or 70 years from now!

This knife has a very good quality! Looks nice and has a good size.

Beautiful olive wood and well-shaped, practical blade

It looks nice, and appears well made, It's light in the hand. I only have small hands, and even for me, it feels just 2cm or something too short. but I expect I'll get used to it.It's not well balanced though, it won't sit easily on top of my butter dish or kitchen work surface, it wants to roll around or roll over.I guess I'll get used to it, I've never had a specific butter knife before, and this was the nicest looking and best value from the others I looked through.

It is one of the best spreaders I have used.

Coating came off after first wash. Rusted immediately and started spreading some blue stuff.

Very beautiful knife! It's very sharp as well, so no problem to cut cheese. Be it cheaper I'd buy 12 of these! Highly recommended!

Didn't seem particularly better than a table knife for spreading cold butter to bread without tearing the bread apart.
