EXCELLENT FAN
I believe this is one of the best build solar fan heavy metal around and fan blades also aluminum this is not chip material i replaced old power fan which they use so much power so far so good I recommend to everyone also adjustment for sun was easy and complete waterproof thanks I will purchase again

High-quality solar power attic fan
This unit is larger and heavier than it looks, and moves a lot of air (not even close to stated CFM, but still very good).When installing be sure to tie it to the roof or chimney so it doesn't slide off and kill someone. I have 1,200 sqft attic and one unit lowers the temp by 25 degrees or more on hot, sunny days.

Don't waste your time and money...
The fan started making a squealing sound after just one year and determined the fan motor was seizing up. I requested a warranty replacement and was offered a replacement but had to pay $40. About one year later the replacement unit started squealing, just as the first did. I do not recommend this product!

Nice
Huge. I struggled to take it up the ladder. Heavy and sturdy. I sat about a foot away and I could feel the heat blowing out. My roof needs repair so my house is hot. I was able to sit in a cooler room. Love this product.

1 of our 2 fans started squealing in less than a year
Bought 2 of these and installed them on our house at Lake Havasu. 1 of the 2 fans is still working properly but the other one started squealing after only about 9 months in use. Squealing has gotten really loud and annoying, to the point that I just covered the thing up, to stop the noise. Durability seems to be an issue with these fans. When they are operating you can definitely feel that they are pulling a good amount of hot air from the attic space. If the one was not making so much noise this would be a 5-star review.
