Tempting Enemy: Book One: Beckham Dynasty

Am I biased because there isn’t a book I have read by M. Robinson that I have yet to love? Absolutely not because everything she writes either makes me swoon or cry like a freaking baby so this is really no different.Haven and Hayes story is perfect in the way of she just wants to have the boy of her dreams and nothing is going to stop her. Not even the boy she has eyes for no matter how hard to he tries to resist when it’s basically written in the stars for them. They are both so stubborn and of course being the alpha he is has definitely met his match in Haven. But yes I did cry when some plot twists are uncovered and shows how meant to be these two really are. I swear I’m such an emotional mess these days LOL.

Haven is determined to fulfill her post-graduation plans she had with her mother. But to take a trip overseas, she needs to earn some money. She ends up at a bar in the next town to make sure her father and brothers don’t find out what she is doing. Hayes doesn’t want Haven working at his bar but she convinced his father to hire her. It’s dangerous at his bar since his father is the president of the local motorcycle club and you never know what the crew will be doing. For Hayes, keeping Haven safe is his number one priority along with fighting the intense attraction and chemistry he has with her. Haven pulls out all the stops to break down Hayes’ walls, knowing he is the man for her. This is an unlikely duo yet the connection they have is natural and comfortable. Sadly, one of their bonds is having lost their mothers at a young age. I enjoyed the struggles along with all the maneuvers Haven used to break through Hayes walls. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I have not read a m Robinson book in years and to be honest it did not disappoint . This book was so good I really did miss her writing . She just takes you in and get the grasp of the book making you forget about your daily life . I loved haven and chase so much there story was truly heartbreaking but it’s what pulled them together . I’m now addicted to anything this women puts out and I can’t wait to read book 2 with cove and jace .

Good story. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The mistakes were absolutely horrible in this book though. So many errors. Definitely needs a good edit.

I loved how this book balanced a fast pace with a lot of drama. Think sons of anarchy in a book! I also love that she’s setting up the series to be a bunch of different books so this isn’t a MC romance series, but a series about siblings who are all completely different people.The flashbacks from conversations with both of their moms was probably the best part. Trust cements the idea that’s what’s meant to be, will be!Haven and Hayes are explosive together. They both have their reasons for pushing and pulling in their relationship, but you just can’t fight fate. The second half of the book was the real star. The drama and intrigue was spot on and the cliffhanger that will lead in to the next book makes me desperate for April.

Take about star-crossed lovers. Hayes and Haven are that and more. It’s an exciting, passionate and devouring kind of book that is hard to put down!

I have minor issues with this story. She may be 18, but she’s still in high school, borderline creepy lol. It’s not that much of an age gap, though.Needs better editing, a lot of errors. It’s distracting.

Having grown up thr only girl myself it truly does make you tough. I love the relationships with her brothers and best friend.Hayes is so misunderstood its tragic. He is so full of pain and guilt for what he had no control over which is probably why he is so controlling. The way he immediately tries to protect Haven is so endearing. But you can't spot stubborn!!

Still my heart, this book conquered me from the cover and the story was amazing as expected.Queen of Angst and may I add Queen of Mystery and Darkish Pasts MRobinson brings us Tempting Enemy, the first book of Beckham Dynasty Series. This story setting is a small town in Wyoming where Haven was born and raised being the youngest of 6 siblings- did I mention they are all older brothers? Well you can just imagine how protected she has been. But how can her brothers protect them from Hayes? A dark, possessive hero who’s keeping a secret and who had the very first intention of staying away from Haven… How does Hayes’ dark and secretive past relates to Haven and her family?I can’t wait for what is next in this series, Haven’s brothers are the cherry on top of this story! Super possessive, ultra protective Alphahole!

Brilliant 5 star read. There were a few mistakes with edits and spelling but all in all it had me completely captivated from the beginning, I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day. The twists were perfect and I fully recommend anyone and everyone to grab a copy.

Haven and Hayes may be opposites on paper but they are so damn perfect for each other.Their story pulled me straight in and held on tight as I kept waiting in anticipation for the angsty twist to drop.And....Their HEA journey was a ride!!! It was riddled with sexual tension, desire, family, heartbreaking loss, emotions, secrets, steam, love and a whole lot of protective men.From the very beginning the connection between Haven and Hayes is undeniable. Hayes tried to fight his attraction, but let's be honest he never stood a chance when Haven would pull out all the stops to get her man.Ok.... so straight out of the gate the man 'acted' like an absolute a/hole but I freakin loved 'I really am a softy'Hayes.Talk about the perfect combination of anti-hero, a/hole, protective, sweet, swoon-worthy and sexy.Haven may be on the younger side but damn she was such a strong and determined girl you couldn't help but like. Her dad is the sweetest man and I absolutely adored him and her five ridiculously protective brothers are hilarious and simply ddaammnnn.. I can't wait for more of them!!The HEA for Hayes and Haven was a much deserved *chefs kiss*

Haven has one goal and she will do anything for it. Even tempting Hayes.Haven comes from a big family with 5 protective older bothers, whom are by the way very intriguing. Hayes is a bar owner and a complete opposite of Haven. And yet it clicks.“𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥.”The attraction between Haven and Hayes was there from the start. Hayes immediately protected her and tried to push her away. But Haven is a kickass heroine and goes for what she wants. And she wants Hayes.The moments between these two were real, intimate and showed their connection. I read this in one sitting. The length of the chapters also made this an easy read.

Loved the book it had everything and twist in the story . I can’t wait to read the next book.
