Definately built to impress! BUT.. after 6 months not so happy...
6 months later: (after 36,000+ miles in a semi) August 2023In real life usage there are a few problems. The gripping material is not really "grippy." It seems like a soft collapsible plastic which requires a lot of clamping pressure to keep the phone from slipping. There are much better materials out there for this purpose and is the one thing that really make this product seem cheaped out on. I'm going to try a silicone door/window seal I have laying around for now to see if I can get some useability back. The clamping force needed to overcome the slipping has caused the plastic teeth that locks the side arms in place to basically strip away to nothing. Now I have a zone where it won't lock in place.Semis can kinda ride like a brick even with air bag suspensions and cab suspensions. The ball swivel could be larger to help fight needing to clamp down so tight on the ball to prevent the phone from jolting out of position. If you only use landscape or portrait this may not bother you so much but if you find you switch back and forth it loosens and your forever correcting out of position on bridge decks and anything else that jars the ride.I did cut off the bottom support for the phone as it horribly held a Note 20 Ultra off center and wasn't going to work in landscape position. So, from the working end of the device the experience hasn't been that great....Now for the better qualities of the holder:The suction cup is AWESOME. It is large and stable. It came off once in about the first few weeks as you could see from the outside that I didn't quite have a good enough contact area with the glass. The second attachment has held to today after spending a little more time to get the angles better. It also probably helps that the arm comes across and rests straight on top of the dash. That takes most of the stress off of the suction cup at full extension. It reaches from the windshield over the dash to the right of the steering wheel in a Kenworth T880.The extension arms are substantial. One thing I haven't investigated is the little bit of torsional rotation they have. It looks like they are made of two plastic halves snapped together which seems to allow some rotational jiggle to the axis. If they were glued together vibration and jolts probably wouldn't twist it so much.I'm not going to necessarily pursue this with the company immediately. I'm going to give them time to reach out after the update posts. I wrote the initial review based on an offer to receive a second product for free upon posting a review. I never did follow through on the offer as life got busy.If this company could get past the generic type phone holding end of this mount with a better phone holding mechanism that could stand up to a semis abuse, they'd have a real winner.Initial Review (unedited:) February 2023This suction cup is HUGE! Arms are substantial. Haven't been able to set it up yet but will definitely be put to the test in a semi in a few days. I'll update in a little while after having some experience with it and my opinion on durability and stability. It definitely fits a large phone and case with room to spare. My one "wish it was different" at this point would the bottom brace to keep the phone from sliding out. It is fixed, so if turning the phone horizontally the phone weight will be quite off center to the pivot. After some use if I find that to be problematic horizontally I might cut the bottom piece off. The "grip" on the phone is good, don't foresee any issues with the phone shaking or slipping out.

Work like advertised
I bought this for my husband who is a truck driver. He is pretty hard on his phone holders so far he has gone through 3. He loves this holder and so far so good. I would say this is a good purchase and recommend.

Grip gone after 3 usage
I liked the way it worked when I first purchased it..It was simple to get to my phones 📱.It was sturdy,It is 16.5 in length, but close down to 8 inches..Then the grip went.. It want grip to the windshield or dash ...Now I'm left with nothing... no phone holder to hold my phone..Imma slip seat 💺 driver.. I need something that is able to be portable on and off without loosing it's grip..

Mediocre Suction
Truckers seem to like its stability on the dash. I mounted this gigantic suction cup on the back area of my (Jeep Renegade's) dash nearest the bottom of the windshield. This avoided mounting it on the windshield which would block my view. A week's stay and 1200 mile I95 round trip to/fro SC no issue. First hot Spring day in NYC, (4/9/24) the thing flops to the floor of the car. I hope I don't have to keep reclamping this thing. This being said, the long arm is great. The phone stays in position and is easily viewable. The suction doesn't match but the size of the cup seems to be a good counterbalance(?) to the arm so the phone isn't jostled a lot as with smaller holders. Hoping for the price that this one lasts longer than a few months.
