I got both the mask and the mousse. I recently had color correction highlights to start removing the black from my hair. It’s been a few weeks, and the toner has washed out, leaving my hair looking very yellow and orange.I applied the mask to dry hair, let it sit for 15–20 minutes, then rinsed it out in the shower. I also used it again after shampooing as stated on the directions. For the mousse, I followed the instructions and applied two pumps per quadrant of damp hair, but it left my hair feeling so unpleasant (even after blow-drying and using leave in conditioner) that I had to wash it out and reapply the mask (not sure I needed to but I did).The second time, I used just half a pump of the mousse on my bangs. It worked really well at neutralizing the yellow, but I still didn’t love the way it made my hair feel, even with a leave-in conditioner. Could just be my hair.The mask was a game-changer, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I let my hair air dry and it’s absolutely soft and luscious. The mousse is great for toning but doesn’t leave the hair as silky as I’d like. That said, I’d still repurchase it, since using it sparingly works much better.

This is a very soft, hair-loving mousse with a nice scent that left my hair a perfect tone. I had over bleached and toned several times. My hair with turned too dark and gray or it was spotty or it just didn't take. I knew my hair couldn't take anymore chemicals and I vaguely remembered seeing a video where Brad had used this on his own hair to keep from applying chemicals. I was concerned it was kind of pricey for something that could be another fail, but I took the challenge. I was shocked at how perfect it toned my hair and how pretty my blonde came out. I used two squirts and have lots of the product left. I am not a daily shampoo girl, so this should last me months. I am not going to use anything else to tone after bleaching. The color I got really made my skin glow and look so even. That's how I know I got the best neutral to cool blonde. Love this stuff!! I thought I was going to have to either re bleach or tone or something to get things to even out, but this stuff was like magic. It also has a tiny bit of soft silky hold which is really nice for getting volume. Honestly, my hair looks like another person's head it is so good. Perfect for what I needed!! And no, I'm not affiliated with the company. I'm just a picky diy bleach and tone girlie who needed a chemical free solution.

As someome that has had white/grey hair for years, this is very helpful for removing yellow and orange tones.It smells great, it doesn't stain your skin, it conditions your hair really well. It's just all over a great product.For the amount you get, I'd say the price point is also worth it.I will definitely continue to buy this.

Here’s what I liked after the first two uses- my hair felt softer after use. It smells good. It wasn’t hard to clean residue left behind. It did help tone some of the yellow I was seeing after my recent hair appointment. It’s thick and easier to really work into the hair. The cons- it took a long time to fully rinse out, I mean 5 minutes until the water was clear and even after there was purple residue on my towel still. The toning was minimal and I have achieved better toning with less expensive masks.All in all I feel for the health of my hair this is a great option to use when I’m feeling my hair needs a little boost.

I have very light blonde hair and I've been looking for a purple toning mask that cancels out the yellow in my hair. I'm pretty disappointed in this product because of how blue the tone is. Anyone who has platinum hair should know that we need to avoid blue tones or they end up making the platinum look muddy or greenish. This product didn't seem to do anything for the yellow in my hair. It seemed to darken my hair a shade on the silver/green side, leave the golden tones, and that was about it. The product itself felt good on my hair and seemed to leave my hair soft and shiny. I love Brad Mondo and watch all his videos, and I guess I expected more from this product since he himself always mentions to avoid blue on yellow hair. When the product was on my hair for the recommended five minutes, it was completely blue. It seemed to all go down the drain when I rinsed, thank goodness, but it makes me wonder what this product is actually supposed to accomplish because it doesn't seem to be formulated for platinum blondes. The deposit was very minimal after five minutes but my blonde is noticably darker and more murky looking. I'll use a clarifying shampoo to get it out the next time I wash and go back to mixing my own formula that actually works to combat yellow tones without the blue. I was just hoping for a product that would save me some time, but this isn't it. I'll be returning it as I spend too much on hair products to keep ones that don't do what I need them to.

I read the instructions... then promptly through them away after the first use I used it on damp hair! I'm a 46 year old woman who has decided to go silver and I want all my hair to be grown out now!!! But it's only been 3 months so I removed all the color in my hair that I've bleached them dyed like a crazy person my whole life! And it's left my hair looking a little bit like Chuckie from Rugrats. But once I used this on dry hair and left it in for 4 hours ( not an exaggeration either!) I've got stunning silver toned.... platinum blonde. It'll most definitely help me ease into silver for the next 20 months!

turned my gray/silver hair purple. easy to use. my hair type is very coarse and waist length, and this made my hair so stiff. made my brush turn purple too. thank goodness it washed out in one wash. very heavy on my hair and I used very little and combed thru my damp hair before drying. Did nothing to get rid of the brassiness and made my hair feel so unhealthy. Took the moisture out of my hair, not hydrate it. Smell was ok, but not great.

This is an excellent product! Not only did it tone down my brassy blonde, it also left my hair smooth and shiny and gave it volume! Love it!
