Does the job well - fun for a new hobby
It always seemed wasteful to throw away empty wine bottles. I mean they can be recycled, but could they be used a different way. Enter the DIYAREA Bottle Cutter. It was easy to set up once I understood how the water was used. I didn't need all of the connections or lengths of hose, but I am sure it's there to cover any situation. As you can see from the photo, my set-up was pretty simple and it did the job. Slow and steady wins the race here. You don't want to push/rush it.I think I am going to use mine for candles. Fun labels on the bottles add to the final product.I am sure we're going to enjoy this for some time.

This works ok, not great, not awful
Start by throwing that water/cooling system in the garbage, it is worthless. I hooked up a small aquarium pump ($5.00) and ran the tubing to the point where the blade contacts the bottle. This keeps the blade cooled and handles the glass dust from getting all over. It does spray a little, but you can adjust that blade guard to catch most of the spray, but do expect some.

Fantastic gizmo for my workshop
I'm a glass artist who needs to cut rims off drops (sorry for the tech jargon) and I looked longingly at professional models out of my price range for about a year. Then I found out about this. Genius! Not only is this affordable, but I was able to easily rig up a water table for it because of its small size. And the blade cutting height is easily adjustable, so no matter how thick or thin the glass rim I'm able to set the blade to the right height.I threw out the weird IV drip thing. But this comes with additional blades so I'll be cutting rims for a long time. If it breaks or wears out, I'll buy another.

Don’t buy this
This is the weirdest contraption and no instructions!

Cutting blades do not last
Make sure your chuck is extremely tight and check it often. Loosens itself. The 60mm cutting wheels do not last past 2 bottles if that. It takes much practice to learn how as no instruction came. Use youtube. Also the diamond used for the edging smoothing WILL NOT FIT! Not happy. Would give it a 2.

cool concept, but not great quality
I ended up returning it because I just wasn't impressed with the quality. It'll get the job done, but I would rather invest in something sturdier. This one is a little on the flimsy side.
