Cheap COB Unit - Definitely not 1800w comparable.
The Good :Cheap COB LED. Not super hot. Puts out a reasonable amount of light. The Bad :NOT 1800W - I'm pretty sure a 500w halogen would blind you more than this would. I address this below but I believe the drivers used fluctuate power from COB unit to unit. Will have to be real close to your plants to have any real impact (6-12" with very little coverage).Heavy magenta cast - If this is in a tent, probably not an issue. Hell, may even be good for flowering if that's what you need. Not a constant current circuit - Heavy pulsing under video camera shows that this is a cheaper driver with weird power issues. Not that it'll affect plants, but not entirely sure that all 6 COB's are on at the same time...

1800 cob 48x36x60 tent
this light is very bright....covers a 48x36x60 tent by itself.....had to hang it within inches of the top of the tent its so bright just to get it far enuff away from my starts...does get pretty warm and requires the tent to be left open at top a bit to let heat escape.....almost no fan noise at all...down side is i dont think this light has any uv or ir to it still over all a good light tho and well worth the money spent...would recommend

Will NOT replace a 1000w HPS or HID
Just got the light a few days ago. bright and workin so far. You must keep it at least 18 inches away from your plant to avoid light burn. This light works. I had some issues with customer service but as soon as I posted my original review, they answered and I can say that they DO have a PPFD that you can download.I will be updating this review of this light in 6 months and then again in 1 year. If there are any issues with anything, I will let you know.Update: 12/25My par meter finally came in and I am sad to say that the advertised 1100 par from 24'' is false. The par for 24'' is about 750. To get to 1000 par, I need to lower it to about 18 inches. This is a big deal because this is supposed to be a big light. Instead of using it for a 4x4 area, it effectively covers a 2x2. That's because it needs to be lowered so much. Maybe paired with another one and lenses, it might do the trick but one is not enough.I am able to grow exactly one plant in flower completely. I definitely need another light to get a 4x4 covering which is not optimal since I bought this light for 4 plants at once. This light would not replace a 1000w HPS or HID light. Two of them together, possibly. My guess is that it would actually replace a 600w HPS or HID. If you're getting this to replace a 1000w, I would get two or move on to something better.

Quality COB LED - does the job, nothing special.
So I actually have purchased several of these lights over time and while I haven’t been able to compare them to other leds I have compared them to HPS (and high quality bulbs at that) and can say that the quality of harvest is definitely on par or even a little better with the HPS.Definitely have to keep them at least 18” from the plants - as others have said the light is far weaker at 24” than advertised... but it definitely still does the job.I liked this light so much I bought another after a few months. I’ve been running mine for 6 months straight at 18 hours at a time and it seems to be operating just fine. Well worth the price.I recently upgraded my HPS to timber grow lights so I will be able to do a side by side comparison and report back

great buy, best option i could find short of building your own. I purchased two, one was slightly warmer than the other but same intensity so I kept both. the fans are kind of loud and output fair amount of heat but it's as expected.
