I bought this when I got tired of sharpening the old fashioned way, on a stone. My wife scolded me, thinking it wasn't worth the money. But now she uses it herself and is very happy. She says it's so easy to do and it takes less than a minute to sharpen a knife. Now all our kitchen knives are sharp. And my home boss is happy.

For some reason it dosent sharpen one particular knife. An other slightly minor thing is that it dosent gripto your counter top, u gotta hold it down with one hand, so be careful you don't cut your self

This electric sharpener is impressive. The shear weight is impressive, which helps it to be stable. It took me a few tries with different angles and pressure until I got the hang of it. Don't rush it, it works. I have not used the coarse wheel as I do not have any knives that need that. The fine wheels have worked perfectly from butcher knives to paring knives. The polisher does a nice job as well. All my knives are much sharper and look better. I would buy this again and recommend it to those that want to keep their cutlery sharp.

This sharpener is so easy to use as the knives glide through the guides effortlessly. You will never throw away another dull knife away again! I would recommend this item to anyone who uses quality cutlery, to keep them quality.
