Nalgene HDPE Wide Mouth Water Bottle

This Nalgene is the best one I have owned so far. I have always bought the brightly colored ones (the ones made from copolyester) and I loved them as well. My last one I froze numerous time and the bottom of it cracked wide open. Not really good for my intents and purposes. So I did some research and came up with this HDPE bottle. The reviews were great, so I purchased it with the hopes that it could withstand the freezing and it has!I put water in it and freeze it every night for the gym the next day. I usually fill it until the 16oz line and it keeps the water cold refill after refill at the gym. Great bottle that easy to hold even with condensation on the outside, brightly colored so it's easy to see (not that it's much of an issue at a gym), easy to see where the level of liquid is inside even though it's not a clear material, and made of durable and structured material (not a lot of give, but it's not as rigid as the copolyester bottles).The level marker will eventually wear down, but it was the same with all Nalgene's I have ever owned because if you use them everyday, it's just bound to happen. Not a big deal, you know the size container you buy so with or without the marker it's pretty easy to gauge how much you've drank.

As always, Nalgene products are high quality and ready for any adventure.You'd think it'd be really hard to screw up making a water bottle, but I have seen some doozies in my day. This is not one of them. This is an excellent, well priced, 1-quart, wide mouth bottle that I highly recommend for any water-drinking individual. It fits wall in the side of all of my backpacks, and if your bad does not have an external bottle pocket, this bottle seals tightly and I have not experienced any leaks.The bright color is vibrant and easy to see at night, and the design is original and pleasing to the eye.If you are still reading this review, you can stop because you should've already purchased this bottle. A+.

A great drink bottle. Fits tons of ice, easy to carry, great color, and made in USA. Its not going to keep your ice cold for a long time since it's not thermal, but i use it all the time when I go running (fill to the brim with ice, leave in car while running, nice cold drink upon return).

This is my absolute favorite water bottle! When out on the water for rowing it holds a larger than normal amount of water, and keeps ice cold water cold for the duration of practice, even on a hot day (90F). The wide mouth means I can gulp down as much as I want without being hindered by the bottle. Holds up very well to abuse, since I throw it around frequently and it slides up and down in the boat every practice. Holds out salt water as well on spring break, giving me fresh clean water in the middle of a workout.At the gym it is small enough to fit in my bag and tight enough not to spill, unlike my green squirt Gatorade bottle (like the ones you see in NFL/College Football games). Fits in most cardio machine holders (all but one particular machine at my gym). Also great for outdoor sports.This bottle does not hold flavor from previous beverages that have been inside. Sometimes I mix a bit of gatorade powder into the bottle and shake it up. If I rinse out the bottle and throw out the rinse water, on the next fill up all I taste is water. Same goes for salt water, tea, Cool-Aid, and adult drinks. Best investment for hydration I ever made.*2018 Edit: I still have this bottle, everything above is still true. It is still my favorite bottle. You should probably buy this bottle.

This was intended for use backpack hunting. Many Nalgene bottles are made with that harder plastic that is noisy when something comes in contact with the bottle. I wanted a bottle that was made of a softer plastic that would help me to be stealthy.Since owning this bottle though, I bought a similar bottle from Nathan and I love the dual lid drinking spout system and would favor their bottles over Nalgene, solely due to the lid system.

Good standard Nalgene. Reliable, basically unbreakable and doesn't impart any weird flavors to the water. Great price.

I’ve had this same bottle for the last 4 years and it’s still going strong. I bought a smaller 24oz bottle for on-the-go (made from the typical translucent hard plastic) and it broke after a year, so I just ordered a smaller nalgene to replace it. I prefer the HDPE bottles over the translucent hard plastic ones because they are tough and are a softer plastic. I toss my water bottle down when I’m skating, a bad habit I suppose, but I need something strong to take the abuse and these bottles do that well.

The original is the best. Yes it has a plastic taste and odor. Yes it takes a while to dissipate. Just run it through the dish washer and use the regularly and in a few months the taste/smell will be gone.No it will not harm you to drink water out of it. The HDPE bottles like this are indestructible will last 30+ years and yes you can see the water level in them unless you have real bad eyesight in which case you should be walking around with a cane or dog leading you.Get this bottle you will not regret it. My brother still has his original one it's over 30 years old.

Muito boa mesmo a garrafa

Es perfecto. Por ser la version lightweight de HDPE es mas suave que nos regulares. Sin embargo es igual de resistente.Tenia un par de imperfecciones minúsculas en la base, solo las lime un poco y listo.

Value for money. Similar products are available a bit cheaper.
