Works better than I imagined!
Wonderful product. Covers thoroughly and very true to the color shown online. Goes on easily. Dries nicely. See pictures below.

Great for Reconditioning Velvet, But Be Patient!
I used this product to recondition and recolor my velvet chair on the right, and the results were impressive — just know it takes some technique. I diluted the product slightly with water, heavily misted the fabric first, brushed and then applied the dye following the natural direction of the velvet. You do have to comb the fabric while working to keep the pile smooth, and it’s important to apply the color in the darker direction first, let it fully dry, and then go back over the darker side. It wasn’t the easiest process, but the finish came out rich, even, and much better than I expected. If you’re willing to put in the time and follow the steps, this product absolutely works on velvet.

Amazing result..
The armrest in my car is badly worn already. I applied this fabricoat on the fabric upholstery as directed, brushing while wet and brushing again when it dried. The result is amazing, the fabric remained soft and the black color matches my seat cover. I like the result.

Beautiful Blue
Amazing product! Make sure fabric is damp and paint brushes on really easy and has great coverage. I added a small amount of water to help with smoothing on fabric which made the paint go much further. I painted 2 chairs and the color I used was blue. Beautiful color. After the fabric dried I brushed with a stiff brush and the texture of the fabric was perfect. Dries quickly.

Doesn't Last
I wanted to lvoe this product, I really did. It goes on beautifully (though I had to buy a second bottle to complete my wingbacked chair) and the color is gorgeous. However, sadly, it doesn't last. I used this on an old pink velvet wingback chair. It went on well, looked great, and dried quickly with good consistency. The chair gets next to no use except on the rare occassion a guest sits in it or when my cats sleep on it. It is not in direct sunlight either. About a week after painting it, the color on the edges started to show through. I'm afraid if I wash it, the entire coat will likely come off. I will admit, however, that hte fabric of the chair is very old (20+ years) and worn, so it may be there simply wasn't enough velvet to absorb it or it might have been the velvet itself (though its synthetic).

Covers well, water clean up, no mess
Ordered 1 bottle to try to hide the blue color on the valances in my motorhome. It covered easily once I sprayed with water before (as per instructions) and had zero mess. The "dark grey" is much darker than expected, charcoal almost black. 1 bottled covered more than I hoped it would. I will order a lighter Grey to contrast and I think I will be happy with the result. I recommend this product.

Easy to use
Glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. Product was very easy to use. I applied it to an old antique chair that someone had already painted on. I lightly sanded down previous paint. Moistened the material very little and waited hour. Then applied first coat. Waited 12 hours and applied second coat. Color was exactly as shown.

Ok
Paint is really good, I painted the cushions of my kitchen chairs but I needed one more bottle to actually make it look good but this is just too expensive to keep buying and you have to do touch ups over time as well so be aware of that.

I have folowed intructions how to use. It came up very good. I had jacket that outer layer fall apart. I had clean it and use this paint and it worked perfectly. I got wet in the rain, paint stand as new. I highly recomend it. P.S. color of fabric that I painted on, was light green. Now it is nice black. First picture show how it was before. Second how it looks after painting.

Very disappointed. I bought two of these to do a project. But after applying the second bottle it turned out they were different colors, which ruined the project.

Deckkraft auf blauem Stoff ist marginal. Dafür leider erheblich zu teuer.
