I have four of these remotes in my home. For the past 3 years these controllers have worked remarkably well, by doing what they are supposed to do. One of these controllers, has been used by a person in my family that is VERY hard on things. The controller in his room works today as well as when it was installed. I have used the timing mechanism numerous times. It works very well EACH TIME, just set it and forget it. The unit beeps when ever it is turned on and off and when the power comes back on. I do not consider this beeping annoying. I had the first three FNANDO controllers installed by a handyman, the fourth I installed my self. The installation is supper easy. The included connection clamps make connecting the unit's wiring to the fan's wiring a breeze. I am absolutely, completely satisfied with this product and recommend it whole heartily.

I am so over the moon about this product. Well the first one we installed I'm not totally sure what happened but it did not work so we switched it out and used the second one since we purchased three units for the three rooms. This was installed in a flush mount ceiling fan. It worked!! The little beep when you turn the lights on is awesome. We adjusted the fan speed. Perfect! On to the next install. These come with a weird little widget that connects the wires. I thought they were useless however my son said they were totally good. Its interesting to note that the first unit did not come with this type of connector either. Maybe that was one of the problems.Giving 5 stars because the second one installed great and worked perfect. Also the customer service of this company is totally awesome. I contacted them previously and they are very responsive. That is a huge plus.That is why we proceeded to purchase the next two units. Glad we had them on hand to use also. The price point for these was also a huge plus. Top quality units for a low price!!! These are very affordable at around $15.UPDATE: As I stated this Company FNADO has outstanding customer service! This is a good fan remote/receiver combo. I was worried about fitting the receiver in the canopy of an older ceiling fan at my mother's house. Most older canopies seem to be much smaller in diameter and depth than later designs. However, this unit fit. It was tight - but it fit inside - along with its wiring. The included wire connection blocks are a bit different, but were actually easier to deal with than wire nuts. I followed the wiring diagram, re-attached the fan to the ceiling and secured it as normal. After setting the fan speed and light intensity to their highest setting, I pulled out the remote's clear plastic battery tab (to make the enclosed battery contact) and put it through its paces. I was impressed to see that along with the expected controls, the remote also provides a programmable timer. The system works flawlessly. I also purchased a second set just to have on hand. I recommend this to anyone wanting to convert a manual chain-pull ceiling fan and light kit to remote control, or anyone who's fan switch has malfunctioned, leaving he fan "stuck" to select only between the "off" or "fastest" setting. This unit resolves either situation nicely.

Works. Still a little to large to fit in the canopy for the fan so I placed it beside the fan. Still looks good. Works great. Has a timer so you can tap the 1 hour button and in one hour the fan and light will both go off. Flipping the light switch does not cause the device to reset to open which is great so you don't end up with your lights left on after a power failure.I have some lights that change when you toggle the light switch and they still work great even with this device attached. The wire connectors that came with it I didn't trust so I used regular wire nuts but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have worked. I just like to be safe.It makes a beeping noise when you operate it so you know it sent the command. I love it. I bought two and installed one so far. The price was awesome. Again, it would have been nice if the device was a little less bulky but it does work great.

Well this unit works perfectly. Installation is a breeze using the included plug in wire bridges. It is a bit on the larger size but I had no issue in getting this to fit without any issue. It comes with a hanging bracket for the remote, however it does not include mounting hardware, you'll need two screws or nails depending on how you choose to install it. The remote is nicely laid out and I really like the built in timer to automatically shut the fan down in 1-2-4 or 8 hours. At the fan you hear a small beep anytime you push a button on the remote which lets you know the fan accepted the input.For the price I don't see getting a better unit. (one reminder, remove the battery cover on the remote and pull the plastic tab to activate the remote).Ps.. I do not use a light kit with my fan so I cannot speak about that but this is designed to also work a light if installed.

I almost deducted a star because I had placed my order on 6/15 and it wasn't shipped until 6/24. However I didn't know if that was the seller or Amazon's fault. So I am basing my rating on the product only. Yes it does beep when you press the buttons but I really don't care about that. Its way better than standing on my bed to reach the pull chain for my ceiling fan. I love the 3 fan speed selection. Other reviewers stated that the light didn't come on immediately. I have 4 lamps hanging from the fan. One of the bulbs was different than the other 3. Just that one lamp took a second longer to come on than the other three. So I don't think the product itself is to blame as much as the type of light bulb you use. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
