It is expensive but it was worth every penny. Enjoyed the strong flavour.

Solid loose tea, especially for the money.
Is this the tastiest Earl Grey I've ever drunk? No. But it's pretty good. The short review is that this is an excellent everyday tea if you like drinking Earl Grey and prefer it loose. It's nicer than most bagged Earl Grey, and it's nowhere near as expensive as other options.Given that the value for loose tea usually is a premium, this tea is exceptional. I imagine that loose tea is generally high cost in the same way a bag with a string and a bit of paper is; it's seen as "posh" or "premium", even though in this case loose tea has far less production costs than any bagged tea, but I digress. The packet is surprisingly large, and is mostly full. It's a plastic-lined paper bag with a sealable top, which is completely satisfactory. It doesn't look as nice as, say, Twining's London Strand which comes in a nice tin, but the cost difference is substantial. That costs ~£8.50 for 100g, whereas this costs ~£7.50 for 250g.This is easily a great tea for everyday use, and gets you about 75% of the enjoyment of loose teas you'd spoil yourself with.

Fabulous
I love this tea. Earl Grey can lack guts, so this stronger version is great if you like a rounder, deeper, maltier brew. (Is maltier a word? Well it is today!)Great value for a quality tea with a decent leaf size.
