When it works, my son loves it. He took it out of the box a two days ago. He figured out the speed control pretty quickly so the cars don't run off the tracks as much. The tracks stay together pretty good and the loop stunt is great.Problems:--The contacts from the car to track work intermittently. Sometimes it works fine and then it just stops or just won't start without a bit of fiddling.--One of the controllers stopped working after two days of play; I posted a question regarding replacement from the vendor so I will update if they get back to me. I couldn't figure out how to contact the vendor directly. I will update if they get back to me.

My husband and I purchased this for my son for Christmas. We assumed it would be great quality considering the almost $100 price tag. Very cheaply made. A plastic piece broke as my husband was putting it together and later when a car flew off the track and onto carpet a plastic piece broke off of it. I managed to fix with super glue...for now. I shouldn't need to use super glue on a $100 toy the first day it is used. Not at all happy with this purchase. This item shouldn't have cost more than $50.ETA: I have also noticed there is some sketchiness to when the track and cars work together. I do not see this production lasting more than a month or so unfortunately.

As noted in all other verified reviews, the cars work only intermittently if at all. We’re 3 days in and one car and one track don’t work at all. The battery option is nice, but even with 8(!) AA’s, it doesn’t give it enough juice to clear the loop without crashing. Since it’s original setup, it has never worked with both cars operating at same time. The guard rail tabs are incredibly flimsy and break upon installing. Both cars cracked and broke after several crashes (crashes are often when you can’t control when it comes on or off).Contacted seller to ask for refund. Will update with response.Update: seller responded within 24 hours. They are offering new cars in case the cars are defective. Will update with results.

Not sure is the real deal but work. The loops broke while trying to assemble so we dd a flat track. Fun.

What a bummer! Our kids had two days of fun and then the track seemed to breakdown. The controllers first and then the cars. We will have to buy new controllers and cars if we want to play with it. Super bummed.

Purchased for grandson for Christmas. Very disappointed, very cheaply made, one car didn’t work and had to put rubber band around motor to keep it in place since tab was broken. Guard fencing broke and the slightest movement causes the platforms to move and make track unstable. I recommend not to purchase and look into a hobby craft store if your in the market for a slot car track. If you want product that will last longer than a couple weeks.

My grandson loves this. He's only 5. Struggled with it for about 10 minutes then he was beating dad.

Complete garbage. Cheaply made. Put it together did not work at all. Complete Dead on Arrival.
