A book we have been looking for for ages for our son who has learning difficulties

This will be the second time I have purchased this. A lovely gentle folk tale from India that my grandchildren love, describing how a tiger cub became a household cat. The illustrations are also lovely with an Indian gel to them to comment the story

My grand daughter had this read to her when she was too young to read, and it inspired som interesting art work from her !Now she can read it herself, she still seems to be using it occasionally for ideas of drawing things. The standard is now much better at the age of 10.

I have used this three years in a row with my class (aged 6-7) and they always love it. It's a fun story that lends itself well to role play, drama and retelling. My little ones especially love the surprise ending!

Always use this story when learning about Diwali and India with my Reception class.
