Is any one having issues with the controller?
My son got his today and for some reason the controller isn't working. He's happy otherwise but he would still like to use his controller. Please let me know thank you.

Took me years back
So so many games. Easy to use, entertaining, great that can take it anywhere. Would be very nice gift for someone. There is function to connect to the tv and play with another player - did not try that one yet. Overall happy with it.

Hours of fun
Bought this to keep grandson amused at a family wedding. He is 10, usually stuck to his Xbox, he absolutely loved it and it stayed charged for days.

Price reflects quality
Let’s be honest, who from the 80s doesn’t want to relive the retro days of playing a game boy? So when I saw this device (along with the price tag) I was almost immediately sold. It arrived and I held it in my hands and was taken back to those happy days swinging on tree branches and being shouted in the house by your mum coz it was getting dark. Let me make it clear, I didn’t think for one second that this was a GameBoy. Or that the Nintendo logo would appear on screen followed by that so familiar ‘ding’ sound. But I did expect to play some classic game boy games. And I did. Out the box and powered up you are asked if you want English or Chinese language. ( you are asked this every time you power up. Every time!) which I thought was weird as surely it would remember my choice. And that’s where we get to the crux of this device. The memory. It has none. That’s right, no capability to save any progress on any game whatsoever. I felt a growing warmth as I loaded up super Mario 3, spending 30 minutes flying around several levels with my raccoon suit, only missing a wham bar and sticky hands to truly regress me back to my teenage years. Anyway, my mum called me in for dinner so I switched the device off while I wolfed down my turkey twizzlers before running back to my room so I could play some more. But low and behold, my progress had reset to new game status. I tried other games and the same was found. No memory. Even in the 80s I had facility to save my game. So my nostalgia trip ended there. Fun for 30 minutes then back to my adult life of cleaning dishes and washing clothes. It is a shame as a save function would have made this device everything. But you get what you pay for I guess. Oh, and just on the language selection point, it doesn’t matter which you choose as all the games are in Chinese anyway! Maybe I’ll save up my pocket money and buy an original gameboy, once I tidy my room of course!
