Easy to set up, good flow.
Works well. Not compatible with Smartthings, but their app is very well laid out and easy to set up. App also has easy to use scheduling and can monitor/delay watering when it rains. Each controller comes with a small hub that pairs to your wifi, and one hub can control several valves. Once they are paired to your wifi they can be remotely controlled from anywhere. I had an issue with the hub losing connectivity to the controllers when I first set them up but I solved it by moving the hub closer to the controllers. I have a micro irrigation system running thru the controllers I bought with a lot of sprayers on it and the valve has adequate flow, I have a 1" water supply to my irrigation so I have a lot of water available, these flow well and don't seem to be restrictive.

Great customer service
The timer worked great until it didn’t. It did not turn all the way off. This was after a couple of years of continuous use. The ability to control my watering even when out of the country was great.I called tech support and we went through a few things trying to resolve the issue. This took just a few minutes.Final resolution was that they sent me a new unit that arrived a few days later.Great product and fantastic customer service.

Easy to use and works better than expected!
Extremely easy set up. And works great! Was only gonna go with the Bluetooth version but then wanted wifi control. Being able to monitor how, when, and how long is awesome for my work of over seeding my front lawn. Set up easy soak schedules and have already seen results vs regulars watering attempts. The rain delay is awesome too. Very happy with the product and may even looking at adding another for another part of my lawn

Good customer service. A bit hard to connect to Alexa.
Edited update: I'm raising it by a star because I was really pleased with customer service. They were easy to reach by both email and phone. I sent a video and they tried to troubleshoot with me, it didn't work out right away but they did not give me much of a hassle to send a replacement. I still don't know why my unit was leaking, it was out of the side slot, not where it connects to the faucet. I had to threat the faulty one but I got the new one almost immediately. In the beginning, I still had a little difficulty with a leak but then I realized that was my issue because I had the hose splitter making it at a slight angle. This thing will only work without leaks if it is completely perpendicular in line with the horizon (even if you use the teflon tape, it will still leak). Once I installed it straight out of the tap and not coming off the angled splitter, the leak went entirely away (this was a different type of leak than the original problem, which had nothing to do with me… There was some crack in the unit I think). It's been pretty hasslefree since then and I appreciate the customer service help. I think they're a good and reliable company.I wish I could have given this product five stars. It really works well for a simple uses through the app directly, connects fast through the gateway. There are two small problems, one is that the joints are extremely leaky... That one isn't too difficult to fix with some plumbers tape, but you do have to take care of that yourself. I wish that they would make some better gaskets for these things. Until I get more plumber's tape, I have to keep a watering can under it to catch the leak. Two, It's almost false advertising that it is easily Alexa compatible. I have over 50 smart devices in my home and most of the Alexa compatible ones have a simple signin button to link the accounts together within the app, And then all you have to do is create the skill on the Alexa app and then program your own voice commands. Not this, oo boy. It took me around the world and had me wanting to pull my hair out. First off, the instructions are TERRIBLE. It made it sound very simple but it took me 15 minutes just to realize that those instructions were just on how to set up your echo device. Why would they even waste space on that when they are a third-party app that has nothing to do with Amazon?? Most people who bought this for Alexa Compatibility already know how to set that up and have it done. I went back-and-forth between that app and the RainPoint one trying to figure out what I need to do after that and there was no clear answer. There is no RainPoint skill within Alexa, I tried connecting through Tuya's app (the parent company, I believe), and it would not find the water sprinkler controller. It was only after I read the reviews, I saw many people were struggling with connecting to Alexa but one person managed to do it and that was by disconnecting the gateway (Which I had forgotten was connected to the controller) and reconnecting both that and the "child device" to Tuya. That is the trick that did it: if you are looking for Alexa compatibility, you must connect Tuya to the Alexa app, not Rainpoint, which has no support. Tuya has a skill there and you can then create voice routines, etc. Through Tuya's app, the interface for the sprinkler controller is the same, and you can control your timers, schedulers, weather delays, etc. It all works well once you get it set up, but I'm just frustrated that they could've prevented a lot of time wasting by just explaining that in simple English (that you must use the Tuya app instead) OR update Rainpoint so it is a skill available on Amazon and truly compatible. That's the main issue that has this review at 4 stars. It's a pity because the other electronic functions of the device work well! I love that you can see the weather forecast right in the app and program rain delays so that you are not overwatering your lawn.

Unreliable. Fails often. Very low battery life. Good customer service via email.
I have had this remote timer for about six months. I use it at a second home to remotely send water to a pool autofill on a schedule or manually as needed. The timer has failed several times. Recently the timer stopped reporting to the app when I was on the other side of the country and would not respond to commands from the app. The app showed the timer running water continuously. This went on for two days. The hub was connected to the network with a strong 2.4Ghz connection. The battery indicator showed 50% power. None of the FAQs on the help page addressed the issue. I put a help request through the app and got a response to use email instead (sent a link). To their credit, CS responded within an hour to the email. I was hoping to be able to reset the timer remotely but was told that functionality does not exist. CS said that the timer could be stuck on for days, the batteries are dead despite the 50% reading on the app, or the timer failed and needs to be physically reset (not helpful when I am hundreds of miles away). One big issue is that older timers (which I have at another house) use C batteries that have lasted 9+ months for me. This new timer uses 3 AAA batteries that only last about 6 weeks. I had to find someone to come to the house and replace the batteries and press the pairing button and it came back online. I don’t know if it was the batteries (again the indicator showed 50%) or the timer seized up and didn’t run any water, or it was stuck on and was running water for two days. This device is simply too unreliable to use if you are away from home and cannot fix failures in person quickly. I am replacing it. Unfortunately, too late to return.
