I picked this up earlier this year to sit alongside the other leadership and growth books on my shelf, and it complements them well. Where books like Dare to Lead or Living Brave Leadership focus on behaviour and practice, Leadership Mindset 2.0 digs into the psychology and neuroscience behind it all. What I like is how it connects the science to everyday leadership challenges – stress, decision-making, resilience, and how to get the best out of yourself and others. It’s not just theory for the sake of it; the insights are explained clearly enough that you can actually put them into practice. For me, it adds another layer to the more practical titles. Those books give you the tools, this one helps you understand the wiring that makes them work. Together, they make a solid foundation for anyone serious about self-development and leadership growth. A thoughtful and worthwhile read, and one that earns its place alongside the staples in a leadership library.

Absolutely the direction, guidance and insight I needed to bring me confidence and help me be the best leader I can be. The neuroscience involved is a gamechanger!

The title and references to ”psychology and neuroscience” are not descriptive of this Bic Mac of a leaderahip book. It covers topics that are certainly relevant considerations for leadeship mindset and posture but it never goes very indepth on the topics. Often the chapters are very basic descriptions of fairly complex psychological topics in leadership. The book starts with the author describing getting punched by a colleague. This is starting point is a good description of the overall seriousness of this book.
