Love the spicy flavor!
Whether you want to use Classico Spicy Tomato & Basil Spaghetti Sauce as it is, right out of the jar, or as a starting point to make your own, this sauce is great! Nice texture, a little heat but not too much (for those who don't like things too spicy), goes well with pasta or other dishes. I use it when I make sausage and peppers or stuffed peppers -- adds a nice, strong touch! Definitely recommend this one!

Great value and excellent flavor
This is now my go to. I have bought it MANY times and it never disappoints. I also save the jars for storage and canning. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

Good sauce
Good sauce and I like to reuse the Atlas jars for storing garage stuff. I think Classico actually bought the Atlas jar company.

Not my favorite so far we're on a mission to find the best spicy sauce for the whole family. It was a good sauce had a nice flavor, not melt your face thankfully like a few we've tried.

My Italian grandmother tasted Classico sauce and said that I had finally learned how to make sauce as good as she did. When I told her it was from a jar, she was amazed. In fact, she never made sauce from scratch again and switched to Classico.This sauce is really delicious and can be used as a base for anything that requires tomato sauce. My local supermarket doesn’t carry it so now I buy it from Amazon. My only complaint is that it has added sugar. The basil (not sweet basil) is the only variety without any added sugar and that isn’t available here. This version has the least amount of added sugar at less than 2 percent.

Classico - The only prepared sauce I would buy.
I usually get the spicy sauce - if not that, then with basil. I like that the sauce comes in a bottle rather than a can. I feel confident that the product is well made and that I will enjoy the sauce on pasta or in other recipes.The sole problem I have is that lately the lids are as close to impossible to open as they can get. Right now I have a bottle in my cupboard that neither I nor my male neighbor could open despite my having rotated the cap rim under hot water several times and tapped the cap rim with the thick end of a stainless steel knife. Tight caps are a good thing, but if one can't get the cap off at all . . . . (As it turns out, my cousin also noted that the bottle caps are very difficult to twist open.)
