Probably the only thing that works
I’ve tried lots on things but these seem to work and meet the need of the problem. Down side is the mats coil back up so have had to but tent pegs. Add a tenner to the coils. They can be cut to shape around a tree/bush. I’m have to buy more because every spare bit of soil is dug up and deposits are left in the hole uncovered. The radar things don’t seem to have a great range. Fortunately I only have a small area now I’ve had my garden done. Even pots were fouled in but I got Scottish cobbles for those. So basically somebody else’s cat has cost me in the region of £150 with radar, mats, tent pegs, spray and cobbles

Fits together nicely under the car to provide a good fox deterrent.

Stopped Foxes & Cats
The local fox hasn't recently dug holes in my raised beds & the local cats have stopped using them as toilets as well. I am happy with this product & will buy again. They however need to be installed firmly & with metal garden pins (bought separately), otherwise an eager fox will rip it up. I found them easy to install, cut the shape with scissors & make sure you pin down firmly. Because they are black, they don't look too obtrusive. So far it has been the only thing that has deterred animals from digging in my beds. I'm sure I can also stop the local squirrel but I'm going to have buy more to cover more areas. Meantime the squirrel gets a pass.

It works
I was sceptical but amazingly it actually works at keeping an 11 month old big retriever puppy out of the flower beds. The fittings that come with the pack to secure the mesh to the ground are useless, tiny and flimsy. Bought an extra pack of metal pins which worked well.

It works but flimsy!
The net is thin and fragile, it was kept braking when I pinned down to the ground. So far it has stoped the fox from digging. You need to buy pegs to pin them down to the ground.

Pleased with purchase
Mystery nocturnal visitors have been digging up our front flower bed for several weeks. In despair bought this to try and deter them and I have not had an issue since! Have given four stars not five as stakes to secure the matting are totally inadequate. I bought a load of garden peg stakes and they were perfect for holding the pieces in place and made the whole process very easy. Pleased to say that plants are recovering and seem to be growing through the matting well. Have done a bit of weeding and easy to move the matting. All in all the cheapest and most eco-friendly option and doing the job.
