Acel AC1445 Brass Wired Illuminated Bell Push (as Friedland D624E 'Halo')

Very pleased with this bell push. The body is solid brass and the whole assembly has a good quality, solid feel and appearance. The built in light is very useful and seems to run fine off my rather ancient 6V bell transformer.

We needed to replace our old Friedland bell push and ordered this as the exact replacement. Received the bell after a one day delay in delivery. Was easy to install and seems to be working fine so far. The light is constantly on but the bell looks great. However, my biggest gripe is that it is advertised as a Friedland bell but the packaging has Acel written on it. The buyer should market the product for what it is and not mislead customers. I went ahead and installed the product as I really needed it but was disappointed that it was a company I did not recognise.

Good looking and seems quite sturdy. A definite positive action when the button is pushed, so people don't push it a second time and drive me crackers! For some reason, people seem to notice it more easily than the old white one - helpful in a big house where you don't hear if someone just knocks on the porch door. The illumination is easily bright enough.

I bought this to replace a bell push that had failed because of corrosion after 25 years service.This fitted perfectly and is lit which the previous one was not.

After 2 years it's not illuminated any more. I bought it to replace one where the light had also failed. As I recall, it's a filament bulb. Since it's on all the time, it's lasted 17,500 hours. That may sound a lot, but I don't expect to have to replace my bell push every 2 years.

Excellent product. Looks and feels solidly built, very easy to install.The illuminated halo is permanently on until the button is pressed, it is very bright and is easily seen during the winter hours..

The button kept sticking so the bell rang continuously until it was manipulated out at times. We returned from holiday to find it had apparently been ringing continuously and the bell system had stopped working. Had to replace the whole system unfortunately. Pity as it is an attractive looking deviceDowngraded this as company has refused to refund but rather offered repair and must be returned at my expense.

Replaced existing old version of the same wired Friedland manufacture; easy to install with clear instructions.
