I was a little concerned but they plugged into Quartz-Halogen 300 watt floor lamps and worked just fine with the built-in dimmers. I had been looking for 250 watt replacements but these work fine, just using them full on. One hint . . . when shopping for replacements for halogen bulbs, they can be selected by length, the power rating just doesn't show on the old bulbs. And, of course, the half-round heat shield isn't needed.I added a question saying the same lamps were on sale at Amazon for $5.00 less. That was wrong, the cheaper items are NOT DIMMABLE.

These replaced 150W halogens. Much less bright, but work fine to light up our yard to see the sidewalk without looking like a car lot. In the pics, my meter shows 2 watts each, but both together said 6 so I expect there’s a rounding error, but also that they’re even less than 5 each, as other 10w bulbs read 10 on it. Comparing one fixture to the other, they felt exactly the same temperature after an hour of one on and one turned off.

These 100 W equivalent LEDs are way brighter than the 100W halogen bulbs they replaced. I took manual f-stop and exposure mode pictures of my rooms before I put the new LED bulbs in, anticipating from other's reviews, that our rooms might be darker. I put the bulbs in, and didn't even need to take pictures, they were so bright! My kids complain all the time now, "Can we turn off the overhead lights? It's too bright!" Good product! Two thumbs way up!

Dimmable. This is a 10 Watt rated lamp. Description is incomplete and difficult to comprehend specs.Best to try the 30 Watt Dimmable if it fits the application. My lamp has five eights inch maximum clearance from center of the T3 lamp socket end pins to back lamp reflector. Lamp is designed to project lighting from front half of lamp, and has a blank back cover that appears will not be affected by being installed and squeezed against reflector.

Nice low heat bright replacement. Be aware they are much fatter than halogens and will not fit all fixtures without alteration. My fixtures were burnt up and had to be replaced anyway (my fault for using too high powered halogens).

Chener LED Dimmable Lamp 10W stated as 100W equivalent but, sorry, more like 40W.Tested with standard incandescent dimmer and Axxess Inline Dimmer and dimmed smoothly with either, NO flickering.As typical with all LED Dimmables did not turn on until at about 15% and dimming not linear as it is with incandescent.Very cool bulb temperature whereas with old incandescents of same base I could heat my bedroom with it.Color seems to be more of a warm white.Checked amp draw with Fluke meter:100mA @ 122VAC = 12.2W

First, the light is more like what you might find in a meat locker. It ain't warm, for sure. Second, the light output is pretty weak. I liked my old halogens even less, however. When I tried to change halogen bulbs, they disintegrated in my hand (luckily was wearing gloves). Also, halogens heated up the bathroom too much. So I will try to get used to showering in a meat locker in dim light. In the meantime, I'll continue to scour the internet to try to find warmer, brighter LED's.

Bought these to replace the halogen bulbs that originally came with the wall sconces we have. They fit perfectly and are bright enough. They work well with the dimmer we already have.Some reviewers said they don't work with a dimmer, but it could be that the dimmer is not compatible. Not all dimmers are. The dimmer we have was one I installed a long time ago, I was surprised that it worked, but it did.I'm very happy with these.
