Good when monitored
My 70 lb dog liked chewing on this and I can see how it would help clean his teeth. However, the wood does break apart into mulch pieces (no splinters) so I had to closely monitor him, particularly so he didn’t ingest the wood pieces. It’s good if your dog doesn’t like to actually ingest the pieces, which could make him sick.

Excellent customer service
My dog chewed this into splinters right away. Company reimbursed and made a suggestion for something else (yak chews) that would work better for our Vizsla.

Not safe
would not recommend this item for purchase. The wood shreds and can cause a stomach issue if particles are consumed. Very disappointed in product. Not safe.

Don't buy it
Item was smaller than the large bones sold in stores. Bone began to desintigrate in less than a minute.I'll put up pics tomorrow morning.

Would not recommend for hardcore chewers
Our 6 month old Lab shredded through this in an hour, and we threw it away. Would not recommend for hardcore chewers.

GOOD IDEA; BAD PRODUCT
Our beagle/cattle dog loves to chew on wood, so we thought this bone was a good idea. She chewed off one end of it within 30 minutes & within the hour threw up 3 times, very sick. I do not recommend this product.
