Brought the car, the pets and kids bedroom sets all to go with it but it comes with so much furniture already which is not clearly described online! It’s truly beautiful! We added push lights for extra wow and can’t wait to see our boys face Christmas morning!

All my three year old daughter wanted for Christmas was a dolls house. Cue searching high and low for that perfect house for Christmas day. This ticked all my boxes and more, it was wooden, it was large with a lot of play value, it came with furniture and was unisex so her big brother would be able to play alongside - The fact it was open plan for easy access and had reversible roofing was a bonus. It took my husband and I only twenty minutes or so on Christmas eve to build which was brilliant but some of the floors were difficult to line up with the joints, and one of the screws to hold the roof on was missing. Once built it is slightly wobbly and does not seem to sit flush on the floor. I felt the framework to the house was meant to be put together in a certain way as the sticky parts had their grooves in different places meaning it could have been put together a lot better if you were lucky to match them correctly. It does not look very sturdy and my husband is concerned about me using it for work (I am a childminder) in case it gets broken which is a shame. It is very light though so easily moved from one room to another and although it is tall it doesn't take up that much room.So far I suppose this doesn't sound like a four star review! But it really is a beautiful toy, the roof can easily be turned over to have it snowy or grassy - I love the "solar panel" design! The door opens inwards and moves really nicely, a bizarre notion perhaps but it just feels nice to open and shut. Three of the floors have a plain wood design but the base floor is brickwork (For a cellar or perhaps a garage) and the kitchen/bathroom areas have different tiled designs. There are two moveable staircases, one seems to have a slide at the side which my children love. There are two lampshades hanging down from the centre which the kids enjoy pulling to different lengths. The furniture included is simply stunning. There is a bathroom set - Sink, shower, bath, toilet, a fish rug, little towel and a tiny toy duck. A kitchen set - Cooker, fridge, sink unit, little towel, food mixer, saucepan and lidded container. Living room - Rug, TV, fireplace, sofa, armchair, coffee table, tiny cushions, lamp and houseplant. Master bedroom - Bed with bedding, rug, lamp, wardrobe and dresser with stool. All the little doors open, the plant has bendy leaves and one of the lamps is also bendy. A lot of thought went into the design of this product and it really is wonderful. The other reviews say it is nice and sturdy so although it does not seem it right now I shall think positively.And, on Christmas morning, both my daughter and my five year old son were filled with delight by it

Wow!First of all Hape is not selling this product correctly in their description. Too much awesomeness has been missed out! This DOLLS house is BEAUTIFUL and creatively made. I'm going to go in to details for those that would appreciate it like I would have!The dolls house comes with 36 pieces- I have included a photo for ease of all the items you actually get with the house.Cute ref: bathroom has duck for the bath or shower a towel and a real mirror!!! Bedroom has real mirror on dressing table. Wardrobe has hanging rail and shelfs. One staircase has half stairs and half slide!!! How cool? There is a very large section under the kitchen area of the house to store a car!The kitchen has mini accessories like a juicer oots and pans! Extra boys like lamps and a Tv,fireplace,cushions and rugs make this dolls house feel real and homey. I would definitely recommend this for a girl or a boy. It's the perfect size for a few kids to play as its very open and quite big! Everything was included, easy to build in less than an hour and very sturdy! This will last years to come! We brought the African American family which has no baby so I brought the living room and kids bedroom set and that's all that's needed! You get everything else included! Were going to eventually get the car and outside playset and I think that would be the only additions needed. Love love love!

The house and furniture look lovely. My kids are delighted. Well made and sturdy for the most part. We will probably buy the dining set, the kids bedroom and the nursery as well because these aren't included.One of the long pieces of wood that extend from the back to the front of the house (I think there are 12 in total) was faulty. The hole where a screw goes in was too large and the screw didn't bite. This wasn't really an issue, as a whole the house still felt solid so I just ignored it. I was assembling it late on Christmas Eve so returning it wasn't really an option.Overall happy with it. Quite a bit cheaper than some alternatives and the lack of a hinged front at first looks unfinished but I think it's actually a bonus because the ones I saw in shops looked flimsy and the doors would not last long in my opinion.

Bought this doll house for my granddaughter. It’s really sturdy and my husband commented how well it was made when he put it together, which he did on his own in a fairly short time (he is very handy though!). I’m really pleased with the quality, including that of the furniture - it’s made to last and not at all flimsy - can’t wait to give it to her at Christmas. The price is fluctuating - paid £85 which I think is good value and would definitely recommend

Product is as striking as i had hoped however the quality is lacking for the high price you pay. It arrived with a damaged panel on the front of the house and the bed fell appart on removing from the bubble wrap.Sadly there is no option to just contact the seller for a replacment bed, only to trigger the return and replacment of the entire produxt. There is no chance of me dissasembing this to return it having just built it the night before my sons birthday! Dissapointed.

Having as much fun myself as my 3 year old:)
