This laptop was perfect for me. Replacing a very old, dated laptop so it's luxury to have this. An ideal budget laptop for everyday use.

Ideal computer for the price

Very basic laptop. The pros are the screen size, the keyboard has a good clear layout (but no backlight). But these are basics anyway. More cons - - battery life is pretty good so long as you don't store much; I was surprised by how rapidly the battery fell after adding 40 music tracks. There's no way I could add my entire music library - it wouldn't be able to handle even half without being permanently plugged in. These laptops are obviously not designed for storing much despite boasting large capacity. - the volume is much too low and as someone else said, its a bit tinny; you can barely hear some soundtracks on speaker - means you often have to use heaadphones - not always very practical; - the colour setting is way off; much too blue so green looks blue and brown looks burgundy etc. When shopping for home decor, paint or just clothes, you're not getting anywhere near a good representation of real colour. This may seem like small thing but its actually a real inconvenience. I leave the night light on a lot of the time to try and correct it. All in all, its a very basic laptop and now I wish I'd paid more to get a better model. In future, I will avoid these "bargains" which are actually expensive for what they are. Tech always declines in quality as the manufacturers figure out how to make the kit cheaper and cheaper but we're still shelling out quite a lot for them and like everything else now, you're getting less and less for more and more of your money compared to even just a few years ago.

Pretty nice for school stuff, small size, light. Good battery lasting. Very impressed.

Cheap as chips but performs well enough to grease the papers on yesterday's news ... Bought to replace previous iteration of "Aspire 3" with AMD A6 processor and M.2 SATA SSD ... This as expected performs far better ... booting up Windows 11 in about 10 seconds and seems quick and responsive throughout the OS ... The installed SSD is a Micron 2450 PCIe (gen 3) 512GB which I have tested a few times (using crystal disk mark) and had differing results ... (I may have left some programme running during test) It has tested on several occasions up to 3400 mb/s (about right for PCIe gen 3) but the test shown in the photo is sub 1GB/s ... The "Ryzen 5 7000 series" processor is a little deceptive in that it is a "new chip" with "old architecture" (zen 2) ... It is a 4 core processor with 8 threads and a 2 core Radion 610M GPU ... So if you're a serious "gamer" ... Best to look elsewhere The RAM in this laptop (8GB DDR5 2 channels) is soldered to the motherboard so no option for upgrading which is a little disappointing ... but I haven't noticed any slowdown with multiple tabs open in a browser and several apps running in background ... Probably not a good choice for Intensive video editing though ... Build quality is what you would expect for this price range (no aluminium frame or surfaces) but it seems solid enough with the screen sporting a "slightly wider than is the fashion these days" bezel ... FHD screen is "OK" with "reasonable" viewing angles ... "but now't to write home about" It serves my purposes well enough ... On the whole I am quite happy with this laptop @ £350 ... It does what I need it to do ... And does it well ... It's not entirely future proof but if it lasts me 4 years like the last one I will be happy enough :)

Laptop arrived on time, well packaged. Easy to setup and transfered data from my old laptop quite easily too. Nice bright screen.

I bought this laptop for my grandson as a gift for staring secondary school. I went for an Acer as I have had them before and found them to be reliable and good value for money therefore my star ratings are based on this as it has not been set up yet. I did quite a bit of research prior to going with Amazon but the price was very competitive and as a Prime member I felt confident with the delivery. The delivery was very quick and secure - I was sent a one time code to give to the driver so you need to be in to receive the package. This was painless and the laptop was very well packaged. Very pleased with the calibre of service.
