High Bounce Flashing Ball Dog Toy

These balls are great for playing fetch in the dark with dogs who like to bring the ball straight back. My collie has been using two for the past few months and although the red light died on them a little while ago, the blue light continues to work well on both of them. I lost one for a little while and found it in my neighbour's hedge about a week later (during the frosty weather) and it still worked. The "spiky" texture was a shock to her at first, but she soon got used to it.They are NOT SUITABLE for dogs who like to chew the ball. I gave one to my friend's Patterdale Terrier and he crushed it on his first catch throw and the light died on the second throw, however as he is a terrier, he likes to "kill" toys before bringing them back.The balls are completely sealed so moisture can't get in and damage it like other types of glow balls I have tried.When thrown, the impact makes the lights flash for about 10 seconds from when they first land. Unfortunately, the timer doesn't start again until it switches off and bounces again so the light can switch off just after it lands, if your dog misses it, it is hard to find. Simple solution is to wait for it to stop flashing before throwing it again.I am certain I will order more for next Winter, however they seem to keep going on so maybe they'll last until next Winter!

I bought multiple items for walking my dog this Fall...unfortunately this product wasn't a wise choice for my Springer Spaniel who bites down on the ball as he runs from retrieving it. Its great that it lights up on impact so is easy to spot in a dark field, I just assumed it would be able to withstand a few walks rather than just the 5mins it lasted. This could potentially be down to the individual dog.Be careful leaving your dog alone if they decide not to hand it back (if playing at home) as the internal light breaks into small parts within the ball itself. My poor dog isn't the brightest but I managed to take it away from him in good time before he did himself any harm.

My large labradoodle adores this toy. He is more excited about chasing this than any other ball we possess. It is fantastic for winter mornings. He has fetched it enthusiastically, carried it around proudly and chewed it and so far no problem with the spines breaking and the light still flashes.( Like most retrieving dogs he has a soft mouth for carrying objects and he is not generally destructive of toys). At this price it is a fantastic bargain and I am delighted with it.

Disappointing. Size says large approx 10 cm this is not true then smaller print says 8x8x6.5 clearly ridiculous if we are describing balls more like 6 cms. Thought postage was expensive too. Having said that I thought I was reordering these balls as my dog likes the ones I originally ordered and they were cheaper, better quality and you got 2 for less than the price of one small one from these people.

He loves balls and lights so this is perfect. Supposed to be a christmas present but we gave it to him straight away. He loves it and knows how to drop it to activate the light and he also 'mouths' it when he is excited !He prances around all proud of himself !he punctured it in less than 48 hours- it is now more like a sphere but still a BIG hit !happy dog , happy people !

Brilliant. Now that it is dark in the early morning I can see exactly where the ball is and it is tuff enough that my dog will not chew or puncture it straight away unlike some balls

I bought two, both broke as soon as the dog started chewing them. On the first few uses they were good and flashed brightly, easy to see in the leaves and grass on walks where he usually loses a ball or two.

The ball arrived in the morning on the dogs first walk it stopped flashing and the inside of the ball came loose so i had to throw it away as it was dangerous to my dog I WISH I HAD READ THE OTHER REVIEW TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY
