I thought I was buying a fun little holiday prank. Instead, I’ve unwillingly entered into a legally binding contract to move this nightmare doll around my house every single night like some kind of unpaid elf concierge.Day 1: Placed her on a shelf. Cute, right? By morning, she was sitting on my coffee maker, judging me for needing caffeine.Day 3: Moved her to the Christmas tree. Woke up to find her hanging from the ceiling fan like a tiny Cirque du Soleil performer.Day 6: Thought I’d be funny and stuff her in the fridge. She somehow ended up in my bed. I did not put her there.Day 10: My dog growls at her. My husband insists he heard whispering. I swear I saw her arm move out of the corner of my eye.Day 15: I’ve accepted my fate. I now live in constant fear of forgetting to move her. The pressure is unbearable. Fun Holiday Elf, But Could Use Better Support
It would be great if the elf had strings inside its body since the legs and arms are too soft to hold a pose and keep falling down. Other than that, it’s a pretty good one—we had a lot of fun with it this Christmas season!
