For what I paid I'm really pleased with the mount. It's very easy to set up. I did not want to stick a magnet to the back of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 so tested it by placing on the cover from the inside. Unfortunately, the magnet was not strong at all and wouldn't hold the phone. I then decided to stick the round magnet to the back of my cover. This method somehow worked. I've been driving around locally and haven't had any problems yet. I just wish the magnet was strong enough to hold the weight of a mammoth phone like the Note 8 with a heavy duty cover on it. However, if your phone is light or you are not using a cover or using a thin cover then the magnetic strength should be sufficient.

to cut it short if you want a phone holder that you can put a phablet / large phone on it with a bulky case on it then this is the product for you.overall i like the ease of use and ease that i can change the phones orientation when loading maps.no phone bounce when driving which to me that is crucial as it is simply the most annoying thing that i have ever seen on any car phone mount.the only gripe that i have is that the magnets that you get are very strong but i would only ask that the metal plate comes in a pack of three as if you change the case on your phone or you get a new one i had to fork out for another one on amazon as you cannot use them again once on the case of a phone.

I have used this with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S for a couple of weeks now.It was used whenever I was using my car to test it out. The "Gel" sucker/pad is very good and showed no signs of coming loose from my dash board which is leather lookalike with a slightly rippled surface.Have confidently put away in my suitcase for holiday car rentals which is what it is for.It can feel a bit flimsy when fitting your phone or tablet, but the sucker remains firm.You can buy this mount with confidence.

I needed a magnetic holder that wasn't mounted on the vent as I always find that the during the car journey the vents are not strong enough to keep it inplace. This soloution was best mounting on the dashboard. I have a much better view of my phone when using it as a GPS where sometimes my own arms are blocking my view or have the phone blocking the air I want keeping me cool or warm.The magnet in the holder are pretty strong, strong enough that I can use it without the back plating and not have to worry about it falling of during my travels. The arm extension and movements offers so many different positions that you can think of sticking to that best suits you. You dont have to work around it, it works for you!

this was working pretty good. it does not stick to the textured dash but it could stick to the more plain plastic in front of my car radio panel. it does bump up and down a bit with the arm but i quite like it and would have recommended it... then came along summer. one particularly hot UK day and it has never stuck sufficiently again. I tried washing it etc and it just never got its stick back.

Now here is a little gadget that makes life so much easier. It sticks to the windscreen very well, extends to the correct distance (in a van) and the phone sticks to the end with a strong magnet. So far the phone has not dropped off or even looked like it would. When I need to remove the phone from the holder, I just pull. Very simple. It was delivered the next day and it was a very good price so I am very happy with it.

Great cradle, and the thick gel really helps allot. Little tip, when you peel the small plastic disk off the sticky pad, dont toss it, keep it so when you no longer use the cradle (I use it now and again) you can put the plastic back over the gel to keep it getting covered in stuff. The actual cradle is very good quality, magnets are very strong and hold things like the Nexus 7" tablet perfect, and the adjustments available on the cradle offer you every option needed

Pretty much sticks to any surface, kitchen table, glass, car dash, etc. which is what I wanted.My only gripe is the base does not swivel, so you have to make sure it's pointing in the right direction before you secure it, otherwise it would have got 5 stars.Update. After a couple months of use, it’s broken. Typical cheap plastic quality I guess. I did like it before it broke though.
