I have 4c haur and very thick. This product helps to smooth my hair. The cost is worth it. It smoothes my hair and it smells amazing. The product is thick, it us sticky whuch makes thw hold perfect yet its not hard. Your hair ill look amazing and it holds or retains the style whether twust or otherwise. The cost is pretty good for the size of the container. I am looking forward to purchasing another bigger container.

I like that it’s not sticky. It slicks the hair well and the smell is an apple smell which wasn’t overbearing. It doesn’t leave flakes or whiteness.

I got the 500ml coconut one for 17.99The smell:It is very soft and subtle with the coconut smell. It doesn’t necessarily smell like chemicals but I do not smell very fruit either, so I like thatThe texture/thickness:I am use to styling my hair with EDGEffect 5+ extreme hold gel. So compared to that it is much thinner (closer to the Cantù edge gel and Mielle edge gel). I hope that this will hold my hair down like I saw in a TikTok that lead me to this product. It is very silky though!I will be box braiding my hair in a couple of days and will use this product. Hope this was a little helpful!!!Update/edit!!I’ve had my box braids in for about a month now and the product it self does not flake!! The “fresh” broccoli braids look lasts for about 2 weeks with my wearing a bonnet am durag do this is over all a great product and I still have almost of the jar left

Not harsh on the hair when used, and doesn’t leave any residual color or stains.

It keeps the braids together and neat but it still dries my scalp a little.

Product works well on wet/dry hair. My hair is relaxed and salt and pepper. I use this to slick the stubborn grays down!

Great product no funky buildup

A braider on Facebook was using this gel and the slick was holding enough that I decided to buy blindly. It doesn’t leave build-up and keeps my edges moisturized. I don’t expect any gel to hold my hair down 24/7 so the hold is average to me. For the price, it’s worth and good value.
