Compared to other hoses of this type, it is quite expensive, but what you are paying for is quality. I have used the hose three times and it seems very sturdy and hopefully will last a long time. However, it does seem to take a while to 'fill up' and as yet has not expanded fully without physically stretching it out - whether this is the water pressure, or just because it is new, I don't know. It did not work very well with a different nozzle that I tried. The disconcerting thing is that when I eventually had it stretched out to 3/4 length and while watering, it started to contract down again, practically pulling me back. I had to shut off the nozzle and wait for the pressure to build several times. Again, this may be because it is new? It would be good to have some instruction in the pack to say to keep the nozzle closed when connecting and turning water on, plus we were not sure which end to put the turn off tap until we looked at the video (which only showed how to connect the bits together, which are reasonably self explanatory anyway). Once we had it the right way round we realised how obvious it was! Generally we are pleased with it, it is light and easy to use, but care and time has to be taken when taking the hose into the front garden, round corners or anything - best to take the whole expanded hose out past any obstacles, rather than drag and wait. Like anything new, it will take time to get used to, but otherwise we are very happy with our purchase. Two weeks later - upgraded to 5 stars. Hose now expands to full length, with a little encouragement at tap end (kitchen sink). I used it with lawn feed attachment with great success. Fantastic to store, no more carting heavy hoses and reeling them in - sigh of relief all round.

This is a fantastic product, and the service received from Henry and his team at Pampered Gardens is second to none. It wasn't in stock according to Amazon, but Henry soon sorted that out for me and kept me in touch with despatch details etc. The hose expands to 100 feet long. but is so light I can carry it on one arm with no problems whatsoever. I've only had it for a couple of days, but it feels like the quality is excellent - no leaky bits whatsoever and feels really sturdy both when in repose and when expanded. It was so easy to assemble and the head thing works very well in all the positions and gives a strong spray. Best of all is that it doesn't kink as I move around the garden - and doesn't get all stiff and filthy like my old traditional hose used to. I would highly recommend this hose to anyone - in fact I can't wait for the hose in my front garden to perish, so that I have an excuse to buy another one of these in a shorter length!

Ordered one of these on 29 July 2015, so unfortunately am just outside of the guarantee period. I only started using it in May this year, so it's only lasted a few months before it split and started leaking water water and it wasn't exactly cheap. It's a shame because I loved using it as it's so light and so much better than a conventional hose. No dragging the heavy hose about, easy to store away. I would say though that there is no way it is 100ft long when full of water, so if you are wondering which size you need, I'd go the next size up. Am off to try and find an alternative.

I bought this hose on the 12th July 2016. It has performed really well up until last Saturday when I was filling fish pond and having shut off the flow at the nozzle the hose burst internally so ruining it completely. For £55 (which is what I bought it for) I was hoping that it would have lasted quite a bit longer than 15 months or so :-( That works out at about £3.66 a month! It was great while it lasted so I'm undecided about buying another. If I did then I would try to remember to not turn on the water supply to maximum pressure until the nozzle was open.

The principle of this product is brilliant - good power hose and easy storage. Unfortunately, I have had two in two years - both 'bursting' after a year. The supplier, Pampered Gardens, is second to none in their after care service. I was given a replacement after the first 'burst' and sadly that 'burst' after a year. Again the supplier 'came to the fore' and gave me a discount on a third one AND provided a join for the old one. Regrettably the join didn't work - the inner tube 'ballooned both sides of the join and split. Anyway, I'm enjoying using the third one - I think if this one goes the same way then I will revert to more standard hoses. As I said, principle good but seems the inner pipe cannot withstand the water pressure being held within it.

What took me so long? Have struggled with the connections to traditional hose reels for years, with leaky connections that are fiddly to correct, trying to get your fingers and the end of the hosepipe pipe and the connector all lined up, only to fail miserably when the water is turned on, with hoses popping out of connectors - and getting soaked into the bargain. The WonderHose is an absolute God-Send, and is appropriately named.Clicked on to my current tap connector without any effort at all, and I was using it within minutes of it arriving. The set comprises of an extremely lightweight hose, which fills out once the water begins to flow. The spray head attachment has a good range of flow types and patterns, very similar to other branded spray heads.Even though its light weight, the hose feels strong and substantial, and I believe it will stand the test of time and the rigors of daily watering through many summers.Once you have almost finished your watering task, turn your main tap off and continue to spray, whilst the hose empties and retracts. This takes only a minute, after which you once again have a very light manageable crinkly hose which easily loops over your tap or a convenient hook.If you want it to look neater, you can stuff it onto the supplied grey drawstring bag, but to be honest its no eye sore.Simple to store, no reel, no winding, no bother.My very neighbor saw mine and was online buying hers within seconds! She's as happy with hers as I am with mine.Recommended.
