I should start with this book and the previous (Access to Building Services Engineering Levels 1 and 2) are for my son he is Autistic and was strongly advised that plumbing was not the course for him. With Tutorial one he maintained pace with others and passed year one with a Merit, (better than a lot of the others in his group) For the coming year his Tutor advised that this the follow on Tutorial would be of equal value and benefit to him, to help him re cover ground covered at college but at home. Looking at the book myself I can see that to any trainee plumber this would be an invaluable form of reference knowledge.

I bought this book after enrolling for a level 2 plumbing course and am very impressed. It contains a great deal of information on both the theory and practice of plumbing & /heating plus a range of background information such as scientific principles, H&S legislation and environmental issues. Clearly presented, well written and superbly illustrated.

You wont go wrong buying one of these. It has everything the NVQ Level 2 needs to know. Worth the money, Good luck with the course. 👍

Purchased for use on lv2 college course. Have renovated plumbing in a house following night course and using this books as guide with tutoring. Also YouTube has been helpful watching various tubers post tips and examples. Basically find as much info rather than giving it a go and making a proper mess. To get the nvq you need work experience and sign off from local firm.'re this book check with college as syllabus changes.

Loads of information, specially if you're new to trade. This will help you in a major way.

Using this with my college course it has been invaluable. I was a bit unsure about paying the price of it but it is a solid investment.

Got this for my son as he going to college to do plumbing,the book is in great condition it is like what you would get in a shop like whsmiths.would recommend to other people who are doing the course to get it from amazon
