I am so thankful for this book. As a military family, we struggle to find mentors and this book makes it feel like Monica is right here with us, walking us through parenting God’s way.I love that this is not a self-help parenting book, but is biblically rooted and practical.

She was the catalyst for opening my eyes to all of the ways I was falling short in my parenting, and how I could start to fix it! As a mom who is just getting started in motherhood, I am constantly seeking Godly wisdom that assists me in my parenting. This book is one that I will keep in my back pocket as I aim to raise amazing kids! It is full of parenting wisdom that is rooted in God’s Word. I loved this book and it will be one I read over and over again.

Monica has done it again with another book that is needed in todays society. Practical, biblical wisdom from someone who has raised 4 amazing boys. I love that she included the whole family in this book. You’ll not only get encouraging, thought-provoking chapters fromher, but a summary/challenge at the end fromher husband, and then a perspective from one of her boys. This book has been a great encouragement to me in my parenting journey and has allowed me to think about areas that need tweaking and areas that we are doing well in. An easy read that will end up pouring our blessings to our family as we apply what is challenged.

I picked up this book because I knew it would be encouraging. So many parenting books are heavily focused on the earlier years, and this was full of wisdom for the season I am entering into with my oldest, who will be 10 this year!There are so many discipleship opportunities through faith, character building, struggles, and outside influences at these ages that this book covers. It will guide you through setting a clear vision for your family and how to walk that out in different aspects of parenting.I also really, REALLY love that her husband includes a page to the dads at the end of each chapter. How often do we read parenting books as a mom, and then try to download everything to our husbands? I love that they included this. Each of her sons also take turns contributing a little of their perspective as well. I love this. It was so sweet to read, in their own words, how these things impacted them.I enjoyed this one, and I would recommend it for sure. This book will both encourage and equip!

5 STARS for Raising Amazing!!Parenting kids is no doubt one of the toughest jobs we may ever be tasked with. Monica is truly gifted and shares practical ways we can teach and train our children to live and love God’s word. It has allowed me to do a lot of self auditing as far as how I am setting an example to my girls and I appreciate that. I also love the resources and contributions and wisdom from her boys and husband as well.

Everything in this book was so helpful and so practical! Monica feels like a friend and big sister helping me along the way as I navigate raising kids to know and love God . I couldn’t put the book down!
