As an engineer, and a keen diy'er I spent at least 1.5hours assembling this! The instructions are non existent. However, the final product is very good. Let me know if you want assembly photos for an idea for assembly. Cant help with a large dose of patients though. Kids love it!

Expensive compared to others but you get what ypu pay for.Instructions are non existant but really simple to put together once you work it out, except one hole was misaligned so that gave us a hard time getting the screw through. .It has springs under the hoop for bounce (which helps as bought a cheaper one in summer and the hoop snapped off within 2 weeks)It has a handle to wind up n down the height for when little ones want to play, but does look a little fragile. Time will tell.Big backboard . Looks good.The box arrived with a huge hole in and some parts missing. Delivery fault but sellers were excellent in sending replacement parts.If anyone needs help fixing one, i took pictures, as until we figured it out was do stumped thought of returning it.Now boys are happy players.

Absolutely fantastic hoop and stand, very sturdy and easy to adjust height.BUT - Instructions were rubbish and it was definitely a 2-person job to assemble. Some clearer pictures would have made assembly soooo much easier - it turned out to be pretty simple once we had worked out which bits went where!

A great sturdy product, my son loves it!!I have docked one star because, OMG you need to put some better installation instructions into the kit.... or at the very least include a utube link to a setup video.it took me the best part of 2 hours to put it together...having to think about where piece goes... the vast amount of time went on looking online how to put together the sprung hoop.Other than that a great product and looks really good.

Absolutely shocking instructions, could not make out what was what. A extremely brief summary of what you have to do leaves you clueless on what you actually have to do. Also my backboard was smashed and the bolts were the wrong size. Very disappointed with this product

Absolutely great, my 12 years old Grandson loves it, especially the wind up mechanism to raise or lower the hoop and net

Basketball stand very good but instructions were a disgrace! We had to look at videos of other basketball hoop assemblies on YouTube to try to figure it out. Hence a low star rating.

The basketball stand is pretty well constructed and sturdy. The handle to adjust the height is perhaps the weakest item and I expect it to break quite soon. However the instructions are so poor it took an age to assemble it. Often through trial and error. If you buy this item, expect to spend a couple of hours swearing at the awful badly photocopied pages. Oh the included spanners are useless too. You'll need to get appropriate spanners of your own.
