Borla is the best sounding and very easy to install and the chrome black tips look aswome on my white 2018 5.3 gmc would highly recomend

I bought the atak system with black tips. They are welded on perfectly. 4 months later and not a single spot of rust on any of the welds or pipes or clamps! We bought an American thunder flowmaster system for our other Silverado (yes we have two new Silverados) and it's rusted all over the pipes, muffler, and hangars, and the clamps were junk, had to replace them during install which was a pain in the behind. Honestly the flowmaster system while it for the most part sounded good, was complete junk. That's why when we traded that truck in and bought another Silverado now we went with another Borla system! You definitely get what you pay for. I can't vouch for any other brands except flowmaster and borla and I 100% recommend Borla, don't waste your money on anything else!!!13 month review update: the borla atak system still sounds AMAZING. I love love love driving my truck in tow haul mode, the exhaust sounds soo bada$$. In traffic on the streets or the freeway I know people hear me next to them. I love cruising on nice days with my windows down because it reminds me of driving my 73 nova muscle car, but even better. One tiny bit of advice I will give Borla though... drill small drain holes in the exhaust tips. Too much condensation produced by the L83 & my wife's L88 too - her LTZ 6.2 received the Borla S-type a week after the purchase due to our total satisfaction with the atak system on my truck. So other than having to drill one small hole centered at the rear bottom of each tip, the system is perfect. Unfortunately, the black tips on my system are getting some spotting, not rust, but just spots that I have to use polish to hand rub off, and still some look permanent now. Oh well, hard to keep clean in Houston when it rains all the time. I make sure to wash my truck at least once a month, but I guess the black tips aren't as durable. Because my wife's system has the chrome tips, and other than the black water stains the chrome still looks perfect 9 months later. Overall I would recommend Borla exhaust products over any other brand, and I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for.

I installed this on a 2018 silverado 5.3 with a k&n blackhawk cold air intake. The sound is excellent and people with the outlaw flowmaster catback systems seem to like my borla more. Great quality. Only dislike is that for the price it should have came with a new front exhaust clamp. After a few week it seemed to quiet down a little. It's only obnoxiously loud on cold startup.

I purchased this system to go into a brand new 2016 Silverado that was just delivered. I wanted the deeper tone of the ATAK instead of the Chev factory-installed system normally ordered through the dealer which I'm told the sound is between the Touring and Sport version. All I can say is I'm absolutely thrilled with this exhaust! The tone has a deep growl that sounds mean without being obnoxiously loud and "tinny" as some do. With the windows up it's barely noticeable from inside the cab so that any conversation either on the phone or with passengers is nice and clear. Also tried to listen to drone that's often complained by some when going to four cylinder mode but there is absolutely none! It gets slightly quieter but that's it.Overal I highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a cat-back exhaust.

Wow! Awesome exhaust! The install can be done with little mechanical knowledge as long as you can turn a wrench & read & follow instructions. The sound this exhaust produces will turn heads! Awesome rumble but not obnoxious! (Ok cold starts it’s a little obnoxious for the neighbors 😎) I wish I would have installed this a lot sooner! Absolutely love it!
