The media could not be loaded. To cut something straight, first you need to set upper part press the handle a little to make a tiny cut on the upper part, then align the lower past with the end of the black edge, then place the magnet as close as possible to the handle (you can also place a scale or even your hand to hold it), otherwise the paper/media will slip and the cut will not be straight.You do all that and you will get a clean cut.Yes, its time consuming, I am using it to cut vinyl sheets. It cuts 1 sheet at at time pretty smoothly, howevet if I try to cut 2 sheets of vinyl together, it mess it up.I gave 4 stars, deducting 1 star for its being time consuming if you need to cut large quantities (people who need to cut only a few sheets doesn't buy a papper cutter, do they?)

Nice one very useful

After a year, i'm writing this review coz I've been using this to make shredded paper, and when it comes to the perfect cut for my product labels, this doesn't work well. First of all, it didnt work on all type of papers; secondly, though the lines for measurements are imprinted on the board, the cutter is not at all straight. But for shredding paper, this is best; however, if you are looking for perfection, better spend more money on a better product.

Worth buying for my business

It does a good job if you are cutting 8-10 papers at a time.. But if you try do do more, it cant cope up.. i tore some papers trying to cut more papers at a time..the magnetic holder is good and strong.. the edge is quite sharp.. i have been using it for over a year.. still the edge maintains its sharpness..
