This Is The ONLY Book to Read - (If you want to be published, save money and sell books.)
This is not your typical 'how to' book by any means. Most books you buy are little more than re-hashed information gathered from other, similar books on the market. Too often, Authors just compile material about a subject then, re-list it while claiming to be 'the authority' in that industry. And, to further insult the reader, the so-called author has never even made a living in the very industry he's reporting on! What they're trying to do is earn a living by offering old, copied material formatted behind a new book cover! And that, is what makes 'How to Make, Market and Sell Ebooks - All for Free!' so refreshing and so wonderful. Jason Matthews is a real Author. He writes real stories and books and has learned, through years of trial and error, all the ins and outs of putting a book together and getting it ready for sale!As you will learn, he's tried every conceivable method to get the most sales for his books. And, he kindly shares every pitfall with us. Now we don't have to make any mistakes or waste years of hit and miss marketing to sell our books. Jason has already been down that path and he warns us about what we can expect in the real world of book making, marketing and selling.Plus, he's so easy to read. He has a style that's very friendly and everything is logical and concise. You will come away feeling like you're now an expert in the book publishing industry. Jason is also very helpful by sharing resources and giving us all the links to all the tools and websites we'll need to get our book ready. He even gives reviews on various services offered and, that alone, is priceless.Imagine, having an expert publisher and author taking you by the hand and guiding you step by step through the many different facets of book publishing and book marketing. That's what you get when you read 'How to Make, Market and Sell Ebooks - All for Free! This is the best book I've read all year for several reasons and, it was written by someone who's actually done it and knows what he's talking about!

Value from Start to Finish
I just bought and read Jason Matthews' book "How to Make, Market, and Sell Ebooks - All for Free" and would like to share my impressions of the book with anyone thinking of buying it. If you are going to make your book available as an ebook, you really need to get Jason's book and read it as quickly as possible. I read it twice. The first time I read just to get an idea of the scope that making and marketing an ebook encompasses. The second time, I went through and implemented all of Jason's ideas. This was the first book I've read on my Kindle where I made use of the notes and bookmarks options that Kindle offers. I marked up Jason's book bigtime, because it has soooo many useful tips, and he walks you through each one step by step. I'm a novice on the computer, but he explained everything so that even I could understand and implement his advice. Jason has obviously learned by doing, and he is a master at this. Furthermore, unlike many authors who tell you to contact them because they'd love to hear from you, Jason actually does, and both times I contacted him, via Facebook and his website, he answered me right away. I came away from this book thinking that if I ever do make it big as an author, the first thing I'd do is hire Jason Matthews to do all of my marketing for me. He takes you through every step of the process, from formatting to uploading to marketing, and he does it in a way that makes a VERY overwhelming process seem doable. If you are making your ebook available for Kindle, Nook, or any other reading device as an ebook, you simply must get Jason's book. Thanks for all your help, Jason.Jim RodgersAuthor of The Old Guy Rules

Another Jason Matthews "How to" Worth Your Time & Money
Jason Matthews has written a practical, no-fluff guide to creating eBooks and selling them online.Major chapters include: Social Media; Creating Your Blog Site; Cover Design; Formatting and Uploading for Smashwords, Amazon and other Retailers; Formatting for Your Sites, Making Your own Conversions; Creating Your Website; SEO (Search Engine Optimization); Preparing Your Website for Ebook Sales; Selling Your Ebook from Your Websites; PR (Public Relations). He presents one of the clearest and most straightforward treatments of self-publishing eBooks I have ever seen; and I appreciated his plain talk about the fact that his suggestions will not make you a great success overnight.Matthews talks in detail about the eBook formats available (.pdf, .epub, .mobi, .txt, .lrf, .rtf, and .pdb) and which booksellers use them, how important each bookseller is likely to be in terms of sales volume, and the relative difficulty of working with each format. He offers up his early attempts as promoting his books by throwing a lot of money at marketing and waiting. When he realized this is not the way to go about it, he developed alternative methods using social media, blogs, and websites to create interest in his books. It was slower that he had hoped or imagined but it works.Best of all, everything in this book is in plain English that anyone from beginner to proficient can understand. That is an accomplishment of its own!The only reason I don't give this book a five-star rating is that I think Matthew covers a lot but some too thinly. Some of the sections need more flesh or be left for a future edition.Although you will not be an expert after reading this book, you will understand the basics of self-publishing and self-promoting your eBooks--with many of the options costing nothing but time and effort. I would call this a solid basic course that, with practical experience, can get you where you want to go.It sounds real to me, not the usual hyperbole and puffery you find in this sort of book. It is not get rich quick, although it may be do well slowly. That's good enough for me and I intend to put it to work. All in all, I would say you'd be hard pressed to do better for the price.

A treasure trove of information and resources for everything E-book
As with several of the other book reviews I have published in genre of “E-book” creation, this is another superb resource and “must have” book for anyone looking to venture into the world of E-book creation.Notwithstanding some formatting issues in the print version of this book, Jason Matthews has provided the aspiring E-book author with a treasure trove of links, resources and “how to” insights that will save you countless hours of sitting in front of your computer looking for information on the dub-dub-dub. I can’t provide an accurate estimate of how many links are provided in this book; however, if I were to guess, I would say well over a hundred. The other main benefit to this material is that most of it points to FREE resources and sources of information that will get the job done, and if you are inclined to spend a few dollars, then you can selectively choose which services will warrant some of your hard-earned cash.Personally, I think if you are going to spend any money on your E-book, whether it’s in the creation of your book or in marketing or sales, start by spending a few dollars on this book AND then add the other four related books that I have recommended: E-Publishing for Dummies, The Global Indie Author, Aiming at Amazon, and Dan Poynter’s Self-Publishing Manual (please note that these are just the ones I am currently recommending, I may add others to the list as I read more of them).

I loved this book!
I bought this book because I wanted to know if and how I could publish cheaply, simply and without any personal contacts with publishers. It gave answers to all that, showed that it was possible and exactly the necessary steps. Jason Matthews does that simply by writing about his own path to publishing and marketing this book. And of course leaving out the paths that he probably tried but which did not lead to this success. 50% of what makes this book so readable is the generous sharing of what works and how to do it step by step.Mr Mathews also writes with an enthusiasm to share. This makes it hard to put down the book. You just want to read more and more. Knowing of course you will need to go back to the pages, and let it become a handbook. Mathews can write and write well. Not everyone can do that.I have read other books on the subject. In my opinion, this is the better written one. And the most comprehensive.I am probably going to buy a few copies more and give it to friends in the same situation as myself. Ironically, the paper version.

How to Make, Market and Sell Ebooks
I bought this book expecting nothing spectacular. I was right, it isn't spectacular. What it is is a very practical guide, for technical idiots like me, who are looking for a book that will guide them through the process of digital publishing. Thanks Jason, your book was exactly what I was looking for!

Good Book.
It has very good information. It was more geared to a PC owner. I have a mac. He has many good ideas that I can put immediately to use.

Good Book
This book has solid advice. I look forward to following it step by step. The writer makes things humourous and honest. His tips are p arctic all and he provides a common sense approach. When he is not familiar with an idea he is upfront about it. He doesn't pretend or fob you off with baloney. I appreciate that.I recommend it for people who have a book to sell.
