Great Purchase
I was thrilled with the quality of this product. It is heavy duty without being heavy. I was concerned about the 57" height thinking it would be too short. I was wrong. It is the perfect height for my 5'2" height with plenty of length left to use if need be. The ball head and quick release work very well. I have used this product exclusively since it arrived. Indoor or outdoor it has proven to be a high quality product. More convenient than my tripod. It came in a durable case with a hex wrench in case anything should come loose. The case does not have a zippered pocket to store it in though. I like to keep my tools with the product they came with so I pinned it to the inside of the case so I won't lose it. I can not think of any reason not to purchase this monopod. Have already suggested it to several friends and family members. Definitely will purchase another one soon for my husband. Great price. Great product.

It seems sturdy which is good as I'm taking it to Ireland. My only complaint is that it is rather long in its collapsed position and doesn't fit well in my backpack

Great Monopod
I have not used a whole bunch of monopods in the past but the Forta FM-500 works great. I have bought cheap 15 dollar monopod in the past and FM-500 is a tank compared to the cheap 15 dollar monopods. It is very sturdy and and the head of the monopod is very well made you can also take it off if needed. Two thumbs up very happy with the craftsmanship. I used it over the weekend with my canon 5d.and had no problems. The guys over at H and B are a great bunch of guys very intuitive and make the whole shopping experience very pleasant.
