New from Kasumi the Kasumi HM Hammer design knives are developed by combining the best technologies from over a decade of experience utilizing traditional knife making skills. Kasumi knives are worthy of being called a speciality of Seki. The main cutting blade of a Kasumi HM is made of Japanese VG10 Cobalt high carbon stainless steel that has been developed especially for knives. The blades are hardened to Rockwell C59-60 degrees: the ideal hardness for quality kitchen knives. This combines the sharpest cutting edge possible with finest edge retention properties. The Kasumi HM Hammer pattern on both sides of the blade is a result of hot forging by 300 tons of a flection machine which makes the steel stronger and the hammer design clear. The uneven hammer design prevents food from sticking to the blade. The polyacetal resin (POM) handle is comfortable in the hand, long lasting and hygienic. All knives are gift boxed
