I read some reviews and saw some people talking about it being too sheer so I was worried, but took a chance. It actually is super great and dark. The only light the shines through is the top, but that's because my light is literally right on top of it, so that's to be expected. Other than that, no light comes through and it's actually so dark that I had to install little string lights inside so I could still have some light when I want without having to turn the entire bedroom light on.The material is very similar to a shower curtain so that was a bit odd, but it works because its super thin, so I don't have to worry about it getting too hot inside during the summer.The length of the curtains compared to my frame was a bit too long, so I ended up cutting off about 6inches from the bottom, so they don't drag on the floor.Installation was very simple, though I needed a second person to help me install the top part.The photos show that the hanging rope and hooks are white, but mine were actually black, which was 100x better anyways. The photos also show the corner ties are white, but mine were black & gold which looked so elegant. There's clearly a difference between what is shown versus what you get, but I preferred what I received so it was a great surprise. Though some people might prefer white, so letting you know.You also don't have to install the curtains exactly the way as shown in the photos if it doesn't work for you! There's 3 curtains total, 1 that covers the entire headboard + half the sides, then 2 that cover the other halfsides + footboard. So instead of having openings in the middle of the bed like shown in the photos, I actually moved the curtains down more to have the opening near the head of my bed, so I can reach outside and grab stuff off my nightstand.

If I had the option to rate this product, I would give it zero stars. The quality is terrible, and it feels like a shower curtain while resembling an expensive trash bag. I've never returned an online purchase before, but I'm sending this back to Amazon; this shower curtain isn't worth anything.

These curtains are not black out! They also seem pretty paper-like, but they are tougher than they look and look really nice on my cheap canopy frame. BONUS- I feel super cozy and safe inside my little bed cave! They were better than I thought they would be based on the price. I also skipped using the ties and used some clips since I only open the one side. Over all I really like them and I sleep better in my new cute cave bed! Also super easy to put on! Only took a few minutes! Over all would recommend.

Kmhesvi Black Canopy Bed Curtains Queen size -This is not a total black out curtain, but it does block out most of the light and decreases it a lot in the daytime. If you already have blinds or shades on your windows this will add to help block the light. Don't think you would want a 100% light block with a thick heavy curtain around your bed or it will get very stuffy and hot!When you get your delivery and before you unfold everything check for the thickest one which would be for the top headboard as it goes around both sides halfway. The other two thinner folds would be for the right and left sides as half covers the end of the bed and half of the side. The top cover you can tell by the folds for the corner tops on it. For me it worked best putting the hanging rings on first as I did each side. The plastic rings are like those used on a shower curtain and you don't see it once the top cover is on. There are spare rings which is nice. A thing about one of the side curtains is that there was not a hole near the end and so it would hang open a little. I got a hole puncher and made another hole and used a spare hanger to close it up tight.Provided are two stretchable ropes that you can crisscross and tie to the top bed poles. This is to help hold the top part up and to keep it from sagging. Also provided are four curtain ties to tie the sides to keep it open. The length is a little bit long and I do have to be careful not to step on it! I figure I could always just get safety pins and pin it up if I wanted to, but it's fine for now. This helps me sleep better and now I don't have the sunlight waking me up before I want to wake up!

I love this item! Can’t recommend it enough. It is perfect for people who want a complete blackout in their room, little to no sunlight gets in if the curtain is completely closed. I love the material, I love the look, especially for the price. I put up some lights in mine and it is just wonderful to look at. Also, assembly is really easy and straightforward, I would just recommend having some help as there are a few parts where having a partner to hold the curtain as we put the loops on the rod made it a little easier to assemble. Overall, it’s an excellent product at a great price.

Great product! Had it for a while. I ordered a queen size for my queen canopy and is entirely too small of a fit. The top comes off a lot because it doesn't fully reach and curtains does not close all the way. I was trying to reach out to company to maybe purchase the top separately or switch but there wasn't an option to contact them. But other than sizing it's a great product , keeps room cool and dark!

This is by far the best canopy cover I have ever purchased shipping was fast. Product looks as it describes. The quality of this canopy cover is unmatched. It keeps sunlight out allows you to have the best sleep ever. Love it!

Good quality it’s cute. It’s OP so you can’t see if you’re very well. It isn’t very breezy, but that’s OK if you don’t wanna use the roof during the summer, it’s easy to take down and you can put it back up in the winter or whatever but the only thing that I didn’t like was only came with two ropes, only two of the post that you could hold it back. I think it should have four otherwise it was cute and I liked it.

i have to say at the start these are not actually curtains as per say they are made from the blackout lining that is normally attached to the curtains them self and upon delivery there is truly only 4 curtains which also means the curtains cannot be tied back as individual curtains as per say for each side as normally for a 4 poster you would have 2 curtains per side so the whole 4 poster would require 4 sets of 2 curtains so 8 curtains in total this is not what they supplied i received 4 blackout linings and a blackout canopy had i of known i would not have ordered them and theirs no option to order the canopy or curtains separately very poor show but the blackout linings that were sent do indeed do there job as blackout linings there is a slight sheen inside the linings and a Matt flat finish to the other side i shall use this as the end of the bed and the canopy under side and place the dressage curtains over the top thank you for reading

Does the job but not particularly well, and is very poor quality, especially the hooks - the ones provided are cheap shower curtain style hooks. It was also super annoying to put up even with two people. I wouldn't recommend it.

My son was so excited for these but when they arrived I was shocked at the quality. I’m not even sure it is fire tested. It feels like cheap, plastic tent material. He has a standard size double and we measured before ordering but even though the curtains fit, the top will not stretch (see picture). One of the curtains (typically the last one) was ripped at the top before we attached it but by this stage he was very excited so we left it up. Giving it 2 stars as it is truly blackout and was really easy to put up (apart from the canopy) but material is shocking and the canopy doesn’t fit. I might retry it tomorrow but right now we’re heading towards divorce or murder!
