Most research indicates that collagen supplements are effective, not only for hair and skin but also - and more importantly in my case - for joints. I've tried several varieties of collagen supplements, and although the powders are fine, it's very much easier to have them like this, in capsule form (unless, of course, you have a problem with larger tablets). As to effectiveness, I do think that I'm more mobile since I started taking collagen - but I'd be lying if I said that there had been a dramatic improvement. At a dosage of 2 a day, these 90 capsules of marine collagen will last just over 6 weeks, which makes them quite competitively priced.

I have been taking bovine collagen supplements for a few years due to joint problems. I have tried marine collagen in powder form before and it was not a nice experience. The taste was unpleasant and it had a strong fish smell. I’m glad that this marine collagen from Newgate Labs is in capsules. There are 90 capsules in the bottle for a one and half month supply. One capsule has 350 mg collagen. With the vitamin C, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid added to it, this collagen supplement will provide extra benefits for the skin. I have been taking these capsules for around 3 weeks now. The capsules are of standard size and easy to swallow. I have not experienced any abdominal side effects from taking them. In terms of functionality, I continue to feel no pains in my joints which means it’s working as good or even better than my regular bovine collagen. Could be a psychological effect, but I think my skin is looking clearer and smoother too! It is good to know that this product is manufactured in the UK under strict guidelines and the highest standards. It’s suitable for vegans and vegetarians. I don’t have problems with the size of these capsules, however, if anyone has problems swallowing them, I reckon you can just empty the capsule and add the collagen powder into a drink or sprinkle it onto cereal or smoothie. I do believe this is a good quality collagen, and also gives a good value for the money. I defo recommend it.

If this product is non vegan than why they say halal total misleading. I lost my money…
