Good sound and motivational
I’ve had these for a few days now and found them straightforward to use. The extra band that sits on your neck isn’t really noticeable. I’m not that much of a runner, but it was a gadget and thought it might that help me get fitter.Good bitsA) sound quality is good as you’d expectB) they really do make sure it’s a snug fit, as there are several ear buds to make sure and some weird wing thing. It’s important for a good fit as this is used for taking your heart rate.C) software on both the app and the headphones can be updated with new stuffD) the coaching has been pretty good (bearing in mind I’m a novice, so might be too basic for advanced runners), but prompted with things like stepping to a beat, step size, etc.E) can control from headset, so no having to muck around with phone during the runF) pace/steps/heart rate all seem pretty accurateNot so good:A) Really only covers running at the moment- future updates hint at other activitiesB) app is good but not greatC) music integration only covers Spotify and Apple, but you can play your own music outside the appD) cost- there’s no getting away from it, it is expensiveWill update review when I’ve been using it for a bit longer

Perfect earphones and outstanding personal trainer in one product!
Vi is an amazing product, defined and designed to the smallest details (as can be seen even in its awesome packaging). The hardware is extremely convenient and comfortable, with almost and zero weight and it fits naturally into the ears, something that I have always struggled with when using other high-end sport earphones. In addition, the amount of information that collected and analysed before, during and after the workout, is extraordinary and all presented on a very user friendly app.

You need to pay for the app if you want the personal training. Headphones are quite good alone.
The review category only let me review aspects of the headphones, however it is likely that anyone buying this product will be after the Vi personal training as well so I'm including this in the review. I have been keeping track of this product since I'd heard it was in early startup. As a starter runner the idea of a personal trainer in my ears sounded great, however the price at over £100 was out of my budget. I was amazed to see it at £33 (now £29) so I went for it. The headphones are pretty good. They stay in your ears well and are comfortable. They measure you heart rate (but I think you'll need the app to get any reports on that during your run). So, that's the headphones done. The app that you have to have to make use of the personal training aspect costs £8.99 per month. Bear that in mind before you buy these for the personal training. The first time I ran I was happy to hear advice on pace come through depending on my cadence, that was useful, though on other workouts I didn't get this. The voice is a bit annoyingly pushy. Think Jillian Michael's with more acidity. Other runs have been less helpful. There has been information on my cadence and heart rate reported, but no feedback if that's good or bad. I got tired of hearing 'breathe! (I was) or 'push harder' ( I was). The voiceover info was a bit ' stock'. On the plus side there are loads of workouts to choose from on the app. I will probably persevere but to anyone thinking of getting this for Vi, is stick with other play apps and your own headphones. Another thing - there is no tap to talk option that there used to be on the headphones. They removed the feature.

Still get 1 years free access to vi app!
These headphones are fantastic and great value for money at their current price (£16). Haven't used these with the vi app yet but you can get a years free access to the app (normally £90). Download the vi app and enter an email address then contact vi support to tell them you have purchased a set of their headphones to activate a 1 year subscription. I'm yet to try the app but hoping this inspired me to keep running. If you don't want the vi app you can still pair these as normal headphones and use with streaming music sites like amazon music. At this price point the headphones are of really good sound quality. I'm struggling a little with the right headphone to stay in my ear when running but I'm sure I can work it out. Overall the fit is good and plenty of choices for ear bud sizes. After a while you don't notice the neck band, it's like it isn't there.Another nice feature is the headphones detect when you remove them. Remove a single one and it re adjusts the sound to mono. Remove both and the music pauses. Put them back on and the music restarts. Although sometimes when running it does think you've removed one of them and dims the music. I think I just need to get the right size fins and earplugs.Small teething issues and I'm sure I can resolve them. For the price I'm extremely happy especially still getting a year free access to vi.Still too early to tell on the long term durability. But looking forward to using the vi app with the vi headphones and seeing if this can replace the need for me to buy a running watch. Downside of this approach is the need to bring your phone. But I've purchased an armband to put my phone in.

Misleading description about the app and product useless without it.
The sound quality is great, had to struggle to get the right fit it’s useless without the app and it offers just 7 day free trial and not 12 months as claimed. None of the sensor recordings are useful without the app. Amazon needs to change it in the product description as it’s misleading. Returned the product.

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit
Absolutely brilliant bit of kit. The AI helps motivate you and the sound quality is top par. I thought the neckband would bounce around while running but it sits really well & the battery life is quite decent as well.

The sound quality is as good as you could want
Vi is sexy 😜. The sound quality is as good as you could want. I’ve had BOSE £300 wired head phones and they weren’t as good as these. No complaints. Love em. 👍

Fantastic product at an amazing price
Fantastic product, you could charge another £100 for these and I'd still think they are good value for money. I would have liked a little more bass however clarity, price and performance are absolutely amazing. I've owned Bose, Sennheiser and Sony headphones before. They're probably not as good as Sennheiser but for the price and features, amazing. They're so good I've got a set for my brother and will be recommending them to my friends
