Q: Does the push button to dispense water work with electricity? Is is permissible for Shabbos use for an orthodox Jewish home?

Yes, the dispenser will still dispense filtered water if you unplug the machine. It will not be cold or hot. Im not Jewish nor do i know the rules of the Shabbos, but while unplugged this machine is completely passive when hooked up to a pressurized water supply.

Q: What is the difference between uv care and self cleaning ozone?

To clarify, the Ozone mechanism is electronic. It creates the ozone, which is a gas, that ionizes the water in the chamber. That kills off any bacteria bacteria naturally. That ozone water is not harmful to humans. On units with this feature, there is a button you press to set off the cleaning process. It should be dome about once a week, and at the end of a use day (perhaps at night). The processes takes bout three hours.

Q: can you connect the water supply to the washing machine?

Yes you can, you'll need a splitter and a adapter from 3/4" connector to 1/4".
