I recently bought a heated beard straightener to bring my unruly mane back under control. Being new to this kind of thing, I did some reading on the subject before I bought my straightener and came to the conclusion that I'd end up with chunks of ma beard falling out, or, at very least, a seriously frizzy mane, if I used the straightener without a heat protectant spray! To be honest, this was the only beard specific heat protectant spray I could find on Amazon when I looked. Would one for normal head hair have worked? I have no idea, but, as the hair on ma chin is totally different from what's left of ma regular head hair, I decided not to chance it and ordered this! I'm glad I did! The spray smells of peppermint and I read somewhere that peppermint has been experimentally proven to encourage more successful growth of new hair follicles than minoxidil......on mice which had been shaved! So, there may be new follicular growth in my beard resulting from using this spray!!! I have used the spray a few times now and, although I haven't noticed any significant new hairs growing in my beard, I can certainly say that I do not seem to have any split ends, frizz or chunks falling out of my beard and, in combination with my straightener, my beard seems to finally be co-operating!

This works awesome. A lot of sprays make my beard. Look Pine straight and almost fake. This one straightened out, but leave some volume to it.

I've been using this beard heat protector for long time. And works fantastic! Beard is now nice and straigh, hairs are not damaged due to the heat. I've seen even my missus using this spray for her hair and she is very happy withe the effects! Now I need to buy some more of it. 5 stars to The Beard Struggle.
