Great sleeves; thicker than expected
I've been hosed by other brands' "oversize" record sleeves before. They were slightly bigger than others, but not enough to fit larger deluxe set records. These, on the other hand, have been great so far. They are thicker than I expected, offering really nice protection. At first I didn't think I'd like the flap, but it is really a nice touch to cover the opening of the sleeve, considering the thickness of some of the records I've put into the sleeves. For context, I've been able to fit (and close the flap) George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" 3LP set, and Radiohead's OKNOTOK 3LP "Ok Computer" reissue. Both of which didn't even come close to fitting into a regular outer sleeve.

The Best Option I've Found
Groove Vinyl's "with flap" sleeves are the best option I've found. I'm a big fan of sleeves with top flaps for the 360 degree protection. There's no dust, liquid, or oily finger prints touching the tops of my records! I literally just spilled cleaning solution on the jackets of a few records I was cleaning yesterday. It would have went right in the top of the jackets had I not had them in these sleeves.I've tried a bunch of other sleeves with flaps and I've always found things I didn't like... too thin and crinkly, foggy, annoyingly sticky adhesives on resealable sleeves, etc. These sleeves are just the right thickness, crystal clear, and the little belt the flap tucks into is simple and unobtrusive. I highly recommend pairing these sleeves with Mofi inner sleeves and storing the records behind the jacket. This method offers easy access to your records, prevents jacket seam splits, and can show off any cool color vinyl you may have. The Standard sleeves (with flap!) will store single pocket jackets perfectly, otherwise pick up these Oversized (with flap!) for anything else.If I had to fault Groove Vinyl in any way, it'd be the inconsistency of being in stock. They can go out of stock for months at a time. I tend to grab several packs when they are available for this reason.

EXCELLENT, HEAVY DUTY, ULTRA CLEAR COVERS
I purchased these 5ml vinyl covers for use on new purchases of 180 gram vinyl albums, and probably more for the double or triple LPs than the single ones. At first, I was putting the albums in with the open end at the flap, thinking that I could take the vinyls out without removing the cover. The problem with that is the seam of the cover blocks the text on the binder of the album. It looks much nicer if you slide the albums into the covers with the binder end of the album at the flap. You will have to remove the cover to take the albums out, but they look much better on the shelf and honestly in most cases, you can't even tell they are in covers. In the picture I provided, all of the albums on the top shelf have these covers on them, except the box sets. And in response to the reviewer who said he could put his George Harrison "All Things Must Pass" album in one of these . . . I just have to say, I suppose if he has the original set like I have with a broken down box . . yes that will fit. But the newly reprinted 180 gram set will not fit into one of these covers any time. They are wonderful on double and triple albums and those there is a little extra room in the covers, it makes the albums nice and easy to slip out of the covers.I am anxious to see how these hold up over the years. Most of the covers that I have on my old albums have become cloudy and I've been replacing those with cheaper covers. I highly recommend these to serious vinyl collectors. They are a very appropriate cover for the newer, heavier vinyl and gatefold covers.

d.o.a. wrinkled and scuffed during shipping
Arrived severely wrinkled and scuffed in similar fashion to what others here have described. Packaging is not adequate to protect/stabilize these sleeves and prevent them from being permanently crushed and distorted by their own weight during transit. I attempted to flatten sleeves with pressure and also let them sit on a flat surface in a warm room hoping they would relax over time but the damage is permanent. Otherwise sleeves are heavy duty and crystal clear. Size is plentiful for larger gatefold double lp's.

Awesome product, great value!
These are awesome! I saw some folks mention that these bags fit boxed sets but that hasn’t really been my experience. The only splitting I have experienced was trying to fit in a six LP box set but since I didn’t purchase the bags for that purpose I am still completely satisfied with my purchase. These bags are nice and thick, my LPs look fantastic in them and I love the non-adhesive cover that wraps the entire LP. I highly recommend and will purchase again!

Excellent product!
The most "hardcore" lp/laserdisc storage I have tried. Very thick and durable. I like the strap in back that holds the flap down, but there is still quite a bit of clearance at the top of the bag when folded over, so I pull it down a bit more and use some tape to hold the flap down (like a bagged comic book) in odreder to fit on my storage shelf.

I bought a package of record sleeves from Groove Vinyl a few weeks back and loved them. I needed some more and when I came back to buy some I noticed there was a version with a flap so I thought I would give those a shot. Same story with these sleeves, they are extremely clear so my albums look great and they feel really high quality. I’m going to be swapping out the cheap sandwich bag sleeves I have for these. Highly recommended.

Didn’t really care for these. Prefer the oversized ones more.
These are tight, really sized for older records. Plus the ones I hadn’t used yet (left in their packaging), the plastic got all warped.

I found that the sleeves were not consistent in size. Some sleeves even were ripped at the seam along the edge.
