Used it on wardrobe door, great.

It wasn't intended to stop an external door from blowing shut, but that's what I tried to use it for. The magnet was not strong enough and is not heavy duty. It would probably be very good for its intended purpose, typically on lightweight internal/cabinet doors.

Nice product

I bought 3 of these, the Amazon page told me it was the same as I had purchased in 2016 so I reordered. The catches that arrived are only about 2/3 of the size of the previous ones and the magnet is extremely weak. I couldn't get them to hold even Ikg let alone 8kg. I intended to return them as not as advertised but the Amazon returns page tells me they are unreturnable. This is, of course, contrary to my rights under the Distance Selling Regulations but I just can't face all the hassle and wasted time for £7.47. This is a good example of wasting your money online on what turns out to be not only cheap rubbish but misinforming you that it is the same item you previously purchased and the final insult of no intention of complying with your consumer rights.

This magnet altogether did the job for me which was to hold the door of a wardrobe. The con is that it is a little bulky; So if you want to use something discrete maybe you will need to look at something different.All in all it does what it says and therefore it is good.

It was good service but what can I say about a magnet catch? well it catches and it is what I ordered and it will catch a 8 kg doorThank you regards Richard
