I purchased both baseball and softball versions. I have not tested the softball version. Using a Louisville Solo baseball bat, with a 2 5/8" barrel. the sleeve tends to slide up after a few swings. After a few swings (3 to 5), I have to slide down the sleeve. I have tighten the sleeve the most it can wrap; however I still get the same results. I like the design; however, it is pain to adjust after a few swings. I hope the softball version does not have the same issue.

I got this for my son to improve his bat speed and it works. He is able to use it while doing BP. The weight is better distributed than a donut, so in my opinion way more superior than the donut. I really like that it fits over even the 2 5/8" bat barrel, and my son has a 29" drop 10 Rawlings Quatro and it fits like a glove. Highly recommend for kids to improve their strength and speed in the bat swing!!!

This wrap fit perfectly on a Demarini Composite 34" bat. It stayed on without slipping through hundreds of swings. Ball flies off the bat almost exactly as if the sleeve wasn't there. I use this for all batting practice and non-game situations and only remove the sleeve for actual game at-bats. The slight weight increase (4 oz) provided by the sleeve has prompted a few kids to remark that it is much easier and faster to hit in the games, but without data, I can't actually back up that claim.I can't quantify how much this protected the bat but after a full season of use by multiple kids on a 10U and 11U travel and little league teams the underlying bat has no damage and looks like new. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone investing 100's of dollars into a composite bat!

This does not fit my son's bat very well. The velcro strip cannot be stretched enough to close, so we get about 5 swings before having to push the sleeve back on. This is on an Easton Ghost X drop 5 (which has a longer than normal barrel), it probably would work well on most other bats. It does fit perfectly around the barrel on a 2-5/8 bat. Very cool to actually be able to hit balls with the sleeve (and it's weight) on the bat.

The bat weight is great for giving you or your player a little extra weight with live batting practice. My son has used this for one season now doing 30 swings with the sleeve and then 50 swings without. alternating until exhausted. Went from hitting .440 to to .780 at 12u. Hitting more line drives and less ground balls. Cant wait to see what he does this Fall. and yes it protects the bat from marks and smudges.

This thing is great. My son hits pretty much every day and he always starts off swinging with this on his bats. It adds a little weight and gets him to really work hard to generate bat speed. It also helps protect his bats so they don't wear down as quickly. Easy to use, well made and he leaves it on his favorite bat as a bat sleeve when not in use.It's better in many ways than a regular bat weight or "donut" as you can actually hit with it on there.

Bought this to add a little weight to my sons bat. He is very small, and the extra 4 oz will help him get a little stronger with his own bat. Works well. It may muffle the sound a bit, but you can still get good feedback in BP.

Perfect for getting your kid prepared to go up a level bar wise. My son is going up to 13u in the fall and instead of buying bat right now, I purchased this wrap to put on his drop 10. Very pleased on how even the weight is disrupted and how the ball reacts off the bat.
