Easy to use - cheaper than 3M film
I've used this for multiple years to winterize our screened-in porch. It's worked well. Take the time to clean the surfaces first and I don't expect you'll have any problems. We've put it up in fall and takes it down in the spring without problems. If the tape/film is left up too long, the adhesive can be difficult to remove (speaking from experience, 12 months is way too long).

Works like a charm.
If you need to put this stuff up...outside is definitely the best way to do it. Much more effective. No problems with it adhering in all weather including northeastern snow storms. I prefer it on the outside so I can use my blinds still. Only down is it's hard to get the sticky tape off the vinyl when removing the film in the spring.

Installation below 41deg or so usually doesn't work out with the tape.
Installation below 41deg or so usually doesn't work out with the tape. You will want to get this product on the house before the temps go lower than the 50's in the late fall. The first window I did this year was on a 41 degree day and I remembered this stuff is less workable than another more expensive product that I also use. My age doesn't help on those 2nd floor windows on the back of the house. That first window application came loose and is flapping around like a beat up flag already. If it doesn't completely detach and blow away, and a warm enough day comes along, I'll try again with a different roll of tape. It's me it not you.

Window weather treatment
This is very neat and easy to use. It is99.9% transparent. It doesn’t block your view to see out tge window. This product does greatly reduce loss of heat in the room.

Unsatisfactory materials failed
The materials being used this year is far less superior than last year (much thinner plastic)and failed by tape not holding up against the elements. This resulted in loss of money but painstaking time and physical energy (I’m old and disabled and climbing up and down the ladder exhausted me). With a month or two to go still left of the winter my energy bill will go up.What a disaster.I will not be buying this brand again and wouldn’t recommend it.I gave it two stars because it did lower my energy bill while it lasted.

It works well
I needed an outdoor window film. This is getting hard to find. It's a bit thicker than other window film, and the tape is much stronger. When I removed half to open the window in the spring, it took some doing. It was TIGHT!For my application, I needed an outdoor window film, and this fit the bill just fine.Three stars for "Easy to install", because once it sticks, it's STUCK. Get it right the first time!Performance is great. Kept the wind out just fine.

Worked good for 3 weeks
This worked great for about 3 weeks, definitely kept the draft out of the huge window in my bedroom. After about 3 weeks I noticed the one side had come off and the tape was no longer sticking so I had to take it down. I will put it up again, as there is lots of material left

One of the worst products I've ever used
I cannot say enough about how awful this product is. Got this kit to cover the windows on our RV for winter (we are full-timers and the RV is permanently parked). Wanted a version that was for outdoor application as that is much easier due to the configuration of our windows. After less than a week all the plastic is pulling way from the tape and all the hours of work I spent installing are for nothing (and we have not even been in below freezing temperatures since installed, with daytime temps in the 60's and even occasional 70's). And now I'm going to have to spend hours removing the tape that remains on my window frames as it did not stay connected with the plastic (which previous versions of these type of products I've used previously HAVE done- making it easy to remove the plastic cleanly in the spring). Utterly useless- waste of time and money. Maybe as others have mentioned, it's the tape that's problematic- guess I should have paid more attention to the reviews. The manufacturer should take this off the market. I think I used a 3M version last year and had much better success.

Works as described
Fairly easy to use. Definitely need two people if windy. Still works even if cooler weather

I would recommend it.
Great product to use outdoors.

not made for canadian outdoors
double-sided tape is weak and not designed for outdoor usage as advertised, it didn't even make it past the fall.

It works
The tape could definitely be better.
