SteelSeries Siberia 800 Wireless 40 mm Headset - Over-the-head - Circu

SteelSeries describe this headset as the best headset on the market - I strongly disagree. This was supposed to be an upgrade from my Logitech G933 headset, however it is more of a downgrade. This headset is not comfortable - your ears constantly rub the inside of the earphones which causes discomfort. It also is not very comfy on the head.The desktop mixer is rather annoying as it never turns off unless you physically unplug it, or manually go through settings each time and find the "standby" option.Also, this headset does not work with SteelSeries Engine3 - even though it says it does on the box. A simply Google search will take you to many topics on forums where SteelSeries themselves even confirm it does not work... yet they advertise it on the box as doing so.All in all it is an average headset, but far from the excellent product it is marketed as.3/5 stars - would not buy again at this price.

Incredible sound, on a par with my 250 pound Sennheisers, Steelseries really wowed me with this design, I love the fact you always have a spare battery thats fully charged in the hub waiting to be swapped over, the battery life is excellent anyway , better than my old astro a50's.So good i'm going to buy a 2nd set for downstairs !!!

Great headset! dropped, sat on broken many times yet still working 100% with a bit a tape on! Have just found a gem on CeX for £70 for a reconditioned pair. time to hang up the ones I bougth originally as thhe frame sare all taped up. you can alo buy new foam ear sfor them. Abused for years and till going strong!
