Loxley Gumstick Handy Artist Gummed Tape 48mm x 54m

Easy to use, strong and will probably last me for the rest of my life given how much extra was given away for free.

Great tape for backing old pictures - good colour and matt instead of shiny- has a faint wire-mark and the gum is really strong.

Good quality , strong paper with good adhesive strength

I've only given this a 2 star rating because I thought I had bought the kind of artist tape that sticks by itself. This tape requires water to activate the glue. It's very strong and was fine for my purpose but I'd rather not have had the extra step required. Enough on the roll to last me personally, at least a lifetime and a half!

Does what it's meant to and that's sticking my Art paper to a board

I found it easy to use for re-sealing pictures (who'd have guessed!). Have a wet sponge handy to wet the tape and a wet cloth handy to dampen the picture backing - seemed to make it adhere better. Would I buy it again? Yes.
